Does anyone notice that he seems to be doing more films aimed at older audiences than kids/family films? I mean, The Cell? Moulin Rouge? Childs Play? The Tommyknockers? He's better when he goes after kids/family films IMO as there's more ludicrous material there to make fun of (for example, THAT line from Zeus and Roxanne). I get the feeling that since his "The Room" parody was so memorable, he decided to go for more films like that.

The idea loses a bit of credibility when his last review was The Grinch.
I'll give you that he's done a lot of adult films lately, but he hasn't stopped doing films aimed at children.

Well, when you're reviewing old material, eventually you run out of stuff to review. I think it's a good idea for him to expand his horizons.

His reviews of teen-to-adult material are often just as funny (especially his Battlefield Earth, Judge Dredd and The Room reviews), so I'm all for that. Hopefully it'll lead into him possibly tackling Radioland Murders- which I liked, but it begs and pleads to be taken apart.

To be fair, kids see horror movies like Child's Play all the time, so it's not outside the realm that something like that would be a childhood memory.

I've noticed his movies lately are more mediocre to decent than outright horrible. I mean he went from Batman and Robin and The Room to Moulin Rouge and Child's Play. What the bloody hell is so bad about Child's Play?

As someone who was in elementary school when the first 3 Child's Play movies came out, I can confirm that almost every kid I knew saw them back then. So it's definitely not strictly "mature" fare.

I think it should change from the cutoff date being 2000 to being ten years prior to the current date. Give things a bit more flexibility.
Also, I'm gonna keep hoping he does Batman Forever and Pokemon 2000 at some point.

Personally, im waiting for him to review The Toy and Amazing Grace and Chuck.

He might as well do kids films from the early 2000s now since they're still nostalgic to some teens and they could make for good reviews anyway, I know Grinch is pretty recent so maybe he's going in that direction.

Personally I'd like to see "The Nostalgia Critic" and "Mr Plinkett" be phased out in favour of having the actual guys who play them simply reviewing movies, because I find both of them to be pretty insightful reviewers.

Kind of the opposite. I haven't really looked at his out of character stuff since I don't really care about his opinions, I just want some humor.
