Whitney Cummings (star of "Whitney," creator of "2 Broke Girls") seems to be quite a polarizing figure. I've seen a lot of debate about her humor, her appearance and just her in general. Personally, I think most of her stand-up act has been done before, and I just can't get into her sitcom (I can't stand the other characters). But I think she is hilarious at the Comedy Central roasts, where her crude humor is best fit to shine. The David Hasselhoff roast was her finest so far. Looks-wise, I find Whitney semi-attractive at best -- she tends to look older than her age. There was one scene on her show with her playing racquetball that I found kind of hot. She just wore that outfit really well. Here's some help in judging for yourself:   So I ask: Is Whitney Cummings funny, attractive, both or neither? |

Only ever heard her on Howard Stern so can only say she was funny then. As far as looks, she is hot for a comedian. See Suzy Estman from Curb your enthusiasm. Most female comics look like Suzy.

Daniel Tosh made fun of her once for having a ridiculously greasy face, and now I can't notice anything but that.
She's funny at times, really really not at others.

Never found her that funny. Only time I've been entertained by her, as was stated, was when she's on Stern sometimes.

Pro: Enjoy her ability to write lengthy diatribes that flow nicely and it works comedy-wise.
Con: Her television show is absolutely unwatchable. Not even the same comic at work.
Pro: Self-deprecating humor that makes her relatable.
Con: Her voice is absolutely TOO MUCH a lot of the time.

I love her stand up! She is also an attractive lady. The hottest chick in stand up right now is Natasha Leggero.

She's been OK on the roasts, but I hate her shows and stand-up work. I much prefer Eliza Shlesinger.

The first time I saw her stand-up special I really enjoyed it.
However, that seems to be about the bulk of her material, that one hour long special; and while her delivery was/is funny, the material itself is nothing that hasn't been done a hundred times before.
She's ok.

I think her standup is funny. I think she's funny on roasts and on Chelsea Lately.
I like 2 Broke Girls.
Whitney, her sitcom however isn't funny.

She isn't that funny, but she isn't woefully unfunny to where I don't understand how people could like her. Whitney is an aweful show, and two broke girls I haven't seen. Looks wise she is OK, nothing grotesque but nothing special either.
Although I do agree with a lot of others, it just seems like she hasn't really paid her dues. She hasn't toiled years in stand up nor been involved with a lot of projects prior. She isn't 30 and she is a show runner on 2 shows?

At the beginning of the Fall season, I set my DVR to record both "Whitney" and "2 Broke Girls."
Half a year later, only "2 Broke Girls" has survived. (NBC renewed Whitney, IIRC, but, in my mind, it was cancelled 2 months ago)
That being said, she's hot, IMO, but she seems more like a "SHOUT up" than a Stand Up

I guess it hasn't found it's rhythm yet. I don't see myself giving it another chance, however.

she's the worst, at least from a comedic and/or entertainment standpoint. Her bland, alleged attractiveness is the only reason she exists at all.

She is somewhat funny but not really feeling her show...It has its moments but nothing that makes me wanna watch it constantly(Even if she is really hot)
