What's yours? So far out of the ones I've seen I really like Dr. No and the Man with the Golden Gun. Still, have a ton more to watch though. License to Kill has an awesome premise, but very mediocre execution, plus it is a Timothy Dalton Bond movie

Probably You Only Live Twice. Sean Connery still at his Bond best and as a fan of the country Japan, the setting is superb as well.

Goldeneye-A very great story that shows a more personal, psychological side to James Bond, as well as a very personal relationship with the main villain. Also proved that the Bond character could still be entertaining and relevant in the post-Cold War era.
Goldfinger-The classic Bond setup, done to smooth perfection. Great villain, jaw-droppingly genius evil plot, and good climax.
You Only Live Twice-Entertaining movie, and my favorite of the ones featuring Blofeld. Love the Japanese setting and atmosphere. Plus, the theme song is literally the most beautiful song ever used as a 007 theme.
The Spy Who Loved Me-my favorite of the lighthearted Moore-era Bond movies, with a good dynamic with the Bond girl being his Soviet equivalent, and how they overcome their differences over the course of the movie.

Connery - Goldfinger or You Only Live Twice (YOLT suffers a little towards the end, where Connery laughably disguises himself as Japanese)
Lazenby - OHMSS by default, though it is one of the best overall, IMHO
Moore - The Spy Who Loved Me or The Man with the Golden Gun
Dalton - License to Kill.
Brosnan - Goldeneye (GREAT Bond, but bad movies)
Craig - Casino Royale
If I absolutely had to pick one, it would probably be Casino Royale.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service is my favourite. It only slowed down a little where Bond was undercover in a kilt, IMHO.

The actual disguise and premise were pretty cool, it just slowed a bit in the pace there. It was refreshing to see Bond actually doing some spy-ish stuff.

From Russia With Love-Robert Shaw made the most effective Bond villain, IMHO
On Her Majesty's Secret Service because it was the most faithful movie to one of Fleming's Novels

From Russia With Love or Casino Royale. Nigh on impossible to split as it generally depends on what day it is to which one I prefer.

Thunderball
Yet it has the worst title ever. The title makes it sound like it's a big, dumb action fun flick yet it's the best, most serious, darkest spy movie of the whole franchise. It's like after Bond had gotten all the cliche of what those films were, they brought everything back to the essentials. A more appropriate title would have been: S.P.E.C.T.R.E.
