Its final Jeopardy and you are in the lead. The person behind you has exactly half so he can't out right beat you. Do you risk anything at all to beat him or do you just play the tie? Yes I'm asking this while watching Jeopardy right now.

Depends on the category. Something I like, I'd wager. Something I don't nothing.

Never got why people never went for the tie. You get to compete against people you have already competed against, and you both get the money.

Texas with a dollar sign.
And it depends on how well I know the category. If I didn't, I'd bet nothing. If I did, at least $1.

After tonight, I know that I should bet at least $1. Well you still get the money anyway. So is that dollar risk worth it just to win outright?

I'd respond with an obscenity and wager 0. That way it's a tie and we both go on to the next episode where I can do the same thing again.

Seriously though, if I was certain of the answer, it might be worth that $1 bet just for the epic troll moment. Then again, if I was that certain of the answer I think I would just wager all of my money and double it.

I'd bet one buck then when I win I can look at the guy who bet half and give him a troll face.

Can you wager anything? Has anybody wagered something weird like $500.76? Can you add cents? As for me; if I knew it, sure...if not, I would play it safe. Nothing or .99.
