I know this is gonna sound cliche' but Y: The Last man.
I've heard it was supposed to be turned into a movie, then someone said they wanted to turn it into a TV Show.
Whatever, they just need to get to it and do it well.
A film would be nice, but I think it would be better if it was turned into a TV Series.
A network like AMC should definitely look into it after the success of the Walking Dead.
If it was on HBO, obviously they'd be able to do more.

Another one... "Strikeforce: Morituri". If it was done as a series like "Walking Dead".

100 Bullets! It's an absolutely brilliant series. Supposedly it is being set up to be made into a TV series, but it's not set in stone just yet. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/100_Bullets

Definitely Preacher. The books are amazing, and last I recall, they were supposed to start developing it into a show on HBO but they could never get it off the ground. Honestly though I think a lot of writers, directors, and studios are afraid to touch it due to the controversy of the graphic novel.
If people get all up in arms about The Da Vinci Code and Passion of the Christ. Can you imagine the insanity that would transpire if Preacher is adapted to a film or television series? Especially if they remain 100% faithful to the graphic novels.
Also I'd like to see the Death Dealer be made into a film as well.

I think the trouble with Preacher, is the graphic violence, graphic sex and graphic blasphemy as you say. Any movie would be direct to DVD because of the above, and it'd probably end up like Punisher: War Zone, which has a loyal cult following, but would never be able to reach the heights of other Marvel films because of it's content. A TV series is probably also out of the question because of the above too. However, I suggest that Mark Calaway's Undertaker persona would be a shoo in for the Saint of Killers.

On a selfish note, I know they've already done a few Punisher movies, but I'd really like another one. I think Garth Ennis' MAX run, while sort of adapted in War Zone, has plenty fo material for a TV series, or another movie.

Come to think on it, the first three Gabriel Knight games would make excellent movies.
