Using gift card I got as Christmas gifts I ordered the Superman Blu-ray Anthology, something I've been wanting for a long time.
It arrived yesterday and when I opened the package, it's a European version of the set. I really, don't care because they are region-free, and have the exact same content as the US discs, it's just strange.

Also, it could have been a different seller albeit Fulfilled by Amazon. There's a seller named RegionFree (or something to that affect) that sells region-free discs.

They've done that to me too, admittedly it was a Wii game from elsewhere in Europe so the only difference is a different colour triangle on the spine but it just looks wrong on my shelf dammit!

They send me a lot of Canadian discs. It's okay because they play fine and are still region 1, but I was a little weirded out by the copy of Cartel I received when I ordered Blow.

same happened to me with my Godfather set and my copy of A Clockwork Orange. But I ordered mine through marketplace, so it wasn't that weird.

Yeah, they've started doing this thing lately where the seller on the main page is not, in fact, Amazon, but rather a third party seller fulfilled by Amazon. I'm not sure what the rationale is for this, but it can be very confusing. For example, I see the following on the Superman Anthology page, currently listed for $75:
In Stock. Sold by Uplifting Deals and Fulfilled by Amazon. Gift-wrap available.
Sometimes, if you want the item as sold by Amazon, you literally have to go into the Marketplace listings for it, and find Amazon's name and logo, and click Add to cart on that instead. Like I said, needlessly confusing, and I don't understand why they do it.

I bought 'The Killing Joke' about a year ago. When it arrived, I found it was in German. Looking back at the page for it, while there was an info table tat stated the language was German, all other information was about the English version including the reviews. I got my money back, though I see someone else did the same thing as they've taken away the reviews for the English version and replaced them with reviews for that item only. It actually really annoys me the way Amazon include customer reviews for other versions of the same product. The Bladerunner Blu-ray (single disc) has reviews that detail what's on all 5 of the discs of the box set. Would be pretty confusing for someone if they weren't up to date with the world of Bladerunner edits. Hope you can view this outside the UK

More often I'm concerned about the quality of that particular release, not the quality of its content. Bugs the shit out of me.

So far, all the discs work.....I just hate the damn rating logos plastered all over the side of the case and the discs themselves.
