So, I'm gonna take the blame for the whole worry about wrestling going away, seeing as I was the one who mentioned that it looked like the focus is shifting away from wrestling. Totally my bad, I should've clarified that it looks like the focus is going to flesh out the OT more.
Seriously, totally my bad. I'm not even involved with the new site, so please guys don't panic over things I say. I know nothing beyond what we've been told

But as long as there are wrestling fans, there will be a wrestling presence, no? WWE Current is generally the most viewed board on the forums. I don't see that changing anytime soon. Mayhaps. I've already voiced far more than I should have though. Just have to wait and see. |

I realise that the intent is to maintain wrestling as being a large focus of the site/board/whatever, but that can't be guaranteed. No one webmaster or admin can force board culture to remain as it is. Furthermore, as the two lead guys in charge of this whole enterprise are, self-admittedly, not big wrestling fans these days, this can come across a bit as throwing a bone to some people. And a lot of the reassurances do come off like that. That's not anyone's fault. True, but in my experiences with websites, there are ALWAYS people who only stick to the boards. In this case, nothing will change for the people who just hang around the wrestling boards, except now they can comment on other things. I predict the wrestling forums to be constantly buzzing as they are the roots of the site in the first place. |

One wrestler that should know of this change is Derrick Bateman. He mentioned on Facebook that he loved the out pour of support from this forum.

Here I was expecting something so life-changing and something that would've ruined the forums forever.
Luckily, it only appeared to better the forums. So good work, guys! Here's to hoping this new version rockets off the ground.

One wrestler that should know of this change is Derrick Bateman. He mentioned on Facebook that he loved the out pour of support from this forum. I was actually gonna mention that someone should let him know, because he seems to really dig the forum |

The forum IS getting a change soon. Tonight is all about the site launch. Baby steps, friend. Why not do it all at once? Everything said a new era begins May 8...a new era isn't a new logo. To be honest, and I doubt I'm alone on this, I could care less what site this forum is attached to or not attached to. I care about the messageboard, nothing more. Congrats on the website, but if it doesn't instantly affect this board it shouldn't be hyped here as if it does. Does it hurt to be so negative? |

Yeah,I called it "The Forum" as well,I'll probably still call it that,because calling it FAN Forums sounds a little generic,no offense to anyone,just my thoughts. You could call it the Freakin' Awesome Forum! ......good point,I shall call it that from now on! |
