This was brought up in the Great White vs. Celtic Warrior thread, about how when Vince or whomever gets a nickname or a move name in their head, he gets bound and determined to make sure the commentators force that nickname out there even if it sucks and even if it winds up not catching on anyway.
Two examples off the top of my head are calling Christian the "Creepy Little Bastard" and trying to call Sheamus's finisher (I think both the Brogue Kick and High Cross were called this at different points) "Pale Justice".

Mark Henry as the "Silverback" never quite caught fire even if the commentators went out of their way to state that it was "self-proclaimed" to avoid any racial connotations.
"Big Nasty Bastard" for Big Show didn't last too long.
King of Kings caught on, but I still think its forced.
