It is funny if this was done in the full Mr. McMahon character. "YOU`RE FIRED DAMMIT!" GET OUT OF HERE DAMMIT!

Dave Lagana said Vince McMahon is out of touch. The guy's almost as nuts as Vince. You wanna know who I am? I'll tell you who I am: I'M THE JUGGERNAUT, BITCH!All jokes aside, you know who I am? A guy who thinks that a millionaire businessman who works in an ever expanding entertainment (whose children, Shane and Steph are also businesspeople and work FOR him), would have a grasp of the entertainment world around him. It's what any normal person would expect to be the case. THAT'S my evidence. As for the rest of your post, this forum ain't perfect, but you can't possibly think posters here are wrong for doubting wrestling journalism. I mean God damn, even you brought up the MVP screwdriver story. That's more damning than you think: they actually expected people to believe that sensationalist nonsense. You shouldn't have to sift wheat from chaff in real news. You're defending folks whom you KNOW can be on a bulls*** agenda. Why? I agree, Vince McMahon is crazy. I just refuse to believe he's, you know, outright retarded to the point where he's forgotten the basics of how to run a business. The bolded, though, I believe that for sure. Yang was like bottom-tier jobber during both of his runs. And yes, 4 months is a long time to not notice something that exists on your weekly programming. And if you don't like it, that's a long time to keep it on TV. Supposedly Vince oversees stuff from behind the curtain, so he should at least know what is and isn't broadcast. Vince isn't normal at all and is a carny. That was my point. Everything you said is 100% true in a normal profession, but that's not Vince, and that's not WWE's current creative brain-trust. And there's countless stories, interviews and books written on the matter that suggest as much. Hell, watch McMahon's own DVD. Hunter buried Vince as all but nuts. That said, I feel bad for seeming like I was singling you out --I wasn't. I was just somewhat miffed that people automatically cry "Newz" every time they hear a story that sounds strange, when Vince IS strange, is insane, and doesn't make any sense. In my other job as a columnist, I have a few friends there that tell me things, and I heard just as much, from them. As for the story in the original post: the real story goes like this, according to the Observer and what I myself heard: Vince was pissed. Just in general, apparently. No one knew why. He took it out all day on Creative, Hunter and even Stephanie. He blew up when he heard ADR mention his name, as it was an adlib. The reason said was that he himself is returning soon, and a specific mention of his name in correlation with this conspiracy angle, ruins the impact of the revelation (as if not everyone on earth knew it was coming anyway.). That was it. An ornery Vince taking out shit on everyone around him, and blowing up at a trivial issue because of said mood. As for the POTC thing – Vince was aware of the movie’s existence, but had never seen it. He didn’t "get" that Jack Sparrow is basically Keith Richards with an eye-patch. He wanted Burchill to be the kind of pirate that he remembered, and didn’t understand the shtick – at all. Picture trying to explain Transformers to your grandfather. That's it.

Picture trying to explain Transformers to your grandfather. That's it. Remember Citizen Kane? Well now he's a planet-sized robot that eats planets. And we all know where that led:

If it's true and this will lead to Del Rio going six feet under, I'll be pissed. But I doubt it. The line wasn't even that note-worthy. I doubt anyone noticed and thought Vince was going to come back.

Jeez, it's not like Del Rio said "Vince is coming back", he simply said he prayed for his return. And besides, everyone knew Vince would return eventually. Exactly!

The line made me wish ADR had been around in 2007, he would've been perfect as Vince's illegitimate son.

Bryan Alvarez said something like Vince was in a horrible mood backstage at Raw, and he thought the PPV was really bad. So maybe this is true. Was he sure it wasn't drugs?

I seriously cannot stand anymore of Vince on TV. Seriously, all the segments turn to focus on him and he just uses the major story lines as backdrops to comb his aging ego. Please WWE, no more - I can't say I'd stop watching but I'd certainly turn into a Debbie Downer.

Well sure the line pissed Vince off, but he probably would have cooled down if he hadn't found out Melina planned that run-in.
