Just to note here I have the mods permission to make this thread. Thanks to them for letting me make this. So I decided I would start writing recaps for the year 2000 in WWE/F. I have done the first RAW and Smackdown's for the year, and was just wondering if anyone could possibly take a few minutes of their day to have a read and give me some feedback? Thanks to anyone who reads and feel free to give me constructive criticism, I will take it on board. Thanks! Link here: pooman2278.blogspot.com/

I just uploaded the HEAT recap. We have a Steve Blackman squash, Val Venis against Prince Albert, Godfather vs Gangrel and a fun tag match involving the Headbangers and Too Cool.

I cant believe this was sooo long ago so its weird to read. Also its really weird that the Headbangers where there in 2000. And why did HHH hate Too Cool? I forgot about when Heat was valid.

On the Smackdown before HHH did a random drawing to decide who would face him for the title and it turned out to be Rikishi. He ended up losing to Rikishi by DQ so HHH I guess wanted to get revenge on Too Cool.

Are you recapping the UK versions of HeAT, or the US ones? Also, I'd change the name of the blog if I were you, "pooman" doesn't have a ring to it

Good times, good memories. It's amazing that reading recaps of squash matches can make me so nostalgic. If i'm not mistaken that was the first episode of HeAT (will always type it that way) broadcast at 4 on 4 , I'm guessing that, like me, you used to record every episode of Raw, SmackDown and HeAT back then? I look forward to your future write-ups.

I look forward to your future write-ups. I hadn't recorded them no, I was only 7 back in 2000 so I picked that year because we didn't get the channel that had RAW on so I only could watch Smackdown and HeAT back then. We used to record PPV's though when they were shown on Channel 4 at 1 in the morning But yeah, I'm using a combination of sources to re-watch the shows. PM me if you want any links. I believe it was strictly a HeAT exclusive one. At the time Luna Vachon was managing Gangrel and Godfather tried to recruit her as one of his Ho's, but she stabbed him in the back and sided with Gangrel. I think this was the time period when they had pretty much ran out of ideas for Gangrel, certainly his character is very gimmicky and had he come along maybe 5 years earlier he could have been a top heel. As it is, in the attitude era with that gimmick he was pretty much a midcarder for life. Anyway, I should have RAW up soon. I believe there is only 2 RAW's left until the Rumble.

"Steve Blackman vs Buck Quartermaine"
Buck Quartermaine? lmao, I'm guessing the FCW name generator was working even back then.

January 10th RAW now up. Pretty good episode highlighted by a huge 8 man main event! Also features Mick Foley asking if he can touch Tori, a really random double countout and a pretty shitty Mr Ass vs Road Dogg match.
