Just remember; Cena has the MITB briefcase...I can see him cashing it in on Punk at TLC out of spite. I will say this about WWE, they do leave me wondering what will happen next. However, more times than not, it's fear more than anticipation. I just don't see Cena beating Ziggler for the briefcase. Cena's beaten Ziggler twice the last few weeks, if Ziggler can't get a win at the PPV it would appear that they've given up on him as a potential main event talent for the time being. But yeah....could DEFINITELY happen.

I wonder how much rage would occur over the internet if Punk lost the title at a house show today, then winning it back later during the show, thus preventing him from beating Cena's record. I'd mark.

Really hoping it's a work. I'm thinking it might be since Punk used his Twitter a few hours ago.
If not make Cena vs Ziggler for the belt.

Theoretically, the heel section of his title run could pass Billy Graham's. Anyone know when that would occur? It can't be far off. Superstar's run was 296 days, If you go with RAW1000 as his heel turn, Punk would have to get to May 15, 2013 to tie it. I'd like to see that. Anybody wanting a two year reign? We haven't had those in a while.

That's funny... considering his first reign ended with him being taken out injured (albeit kayfabe) and he couldn't even keep the title beyond that PPV.

It's even funnier when you recall Batista had to drop the WWE title off of rumors of an injury, only to end up back in action about a week later. Safe to say he's pretty much sailing into the Rumble. Might as well change the Reign Tracker number accordingly.

Goodbye John Cena.
Even though Punk is injured, he has done it. Cena's reign has finally been surpassed.
Punk is now the longest reigning champion since Backlund's 80's run. Kind of amazing to see Punk have the longest run including 90's, 00s and 10s.

If he isn't being stripped of the title, then might as well give him the 400+ day mark already, since it seems he'll hold the title into 2013.

I see a throwaway match in RyBack's future, a forgettable "mandatory" title match between when Punk gets back and the Royal Rumble. That, or when Rock inevitably beats Punk at Rumble, they have RyBack lose to him. Either way, nothing's coming up RyBack.

He's also only a tick over two weeks away from becoming the first man since Hogan in 1986 to hold the belt for the full calendar year.

Well, if Punk were to defend the title tonight as previously announced, it would've been day 392 as champion. But with no real end in sight, might as well add on the numbers.
