What in the blue hell happened to his push? Either because he wasn't getting the reaction the upper management wanted to see or because he's being punished for not wiping down whatever mess he makes at gyms across the good old U.S. of A. I blame Triple H for this though. He tells everyone he wants the guys to go hard in the gym. He should have been more clear on what he meant by that.

People realised he was overpushed and that he sucked ass.
Then he got really good, developed an interesting moveset and showed an insane level of intensity. And Creative still didnt care.

He got beat up by his wife. Knowing the wrestling business and how it acts, this is probably the reason. All those other logical explanations................no, he got beat up by his wife.

I don't know, but I just want his push to come back. He's being absolutely wasted right now.

He won a match on Superstars and was saying "I'm back" so maybe that's the start of something. He looks like he's bulked up too.

It's weird with McIntyre. When he debuted they gave him a huge push despite doing nothing to deserve it as he was unover and showed little promise in the ring. Eventually though he improved and ended up becoming a pretty good worker, having several real good matches with both Kofi Kingston and Christian. Then it seemed right around the time he started to improve they started to depush him for some reason. Then he got drafted to Raw and has been doing jobs on Superstars ever since.
Recently though he's gone over on both Justin Gabriel and Alex Riley (two guys the WWE seem relatively high on), so maybe he's in store for a repush going into the new year.

I remember how many people here predicted this would happen once he was hand-picked as The Chosen One by Vince.

It faded because he was pushed when he was still green as hell, not to mention he received literally ZERO reaction on some shows.
Like others have said, now would be the perfect time to push him since he's improved greatly.

It would be funny if he got his push taken away for getting beaten by his wife, as he likely would've been fired for pushing her down.

They put him out there long before he was ready so it obviously failed. Now that's he's proven that he is ready for a solid midcard push creative don't want to know. It just seems there are others, like Ryder and Ziggler, who've passed him by.

I was going to say he is on superstar and he is doing good. Good thing he recovered from that incident with his ex-wife.

Personally, I think he's gotten more sympathy thanks to losing constantly. But, it's also WWE's issue of WWE Superstars are losers for the most part. It was funny, a few months ago, John Morrison lost on Superstars against Drew McIntyre, and instead of people talking about a match between two up and coming stars, the reaction was, "Man, Morrison is really a loser, he lost to Drew McIntyre".

It doesn't help that WWE treats it as the loser show. There's pretty much no mention of it on the air, and they don't put up digitals for it online anymore (I mean, c'mon, even NXT gets digitals put up every week). It's supposed to go up at *~*4 pm every Thursday*~*, but it seems to usually be at least an hour late. It's been treated like an afterthought for awhile, which I think is too bad.

So.....the Chris Masters effect? I was going to say the Billy Gunn Effect. He's decent in the ring and on the mic, but the fans just didn't care. WWE tried pushing him to the moon, and for whatever reason, the fans didn't buy into it.
