the cast so far Edge, Jamie Kennedy, Jennifer Esposito, Jessica Walter, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Phillip Baker Hall,
Edge as Nick Blades...
originally this movie was gonna be called 'Bending The Rules' but I guess it's now going as 'Breaking The Rules'
also the synopsis has changed from the earlier reported one
it used to be "A district attorney is determined to take down a corrupt New Orleans cop."
but now it's "Edge as a lawyer who loses his classic car and then goes on a quest to get it back."
The last sounds better. though, I expect this to be total garbage, with the actors all phoning it in, aside from Edge who'll probably try his hardest to be entertaining in a bad film.
I actually think Edge could be a decent actor. He's got good wit and comedic timing, along with natural charisma. I could see him in movies like Zombie Land 2 or Pineapple Express 2. comedies or action vehicles like that.

The Lincoln Lawyer meets Dude Where's My Car meets Kill Bill
The WWE Film Division might as well call themselves the Denver Mint because they'll be printing their own cash real soon.

Sounds awful, so it'll fit in with the rest of WWE films. I don't know why they don't stick to stuff that always has a market (horror, action) which are also the films that have done best for WWE films.
I agree that Edge could be decent. He'd make a good action villain.

I'm a movie buff and do not know who any of those people are the Pruitt Vince guy is a great character actor. he was just on The Walking Dead as Otis. Jamie Kennedy was in Scream, had his own WB show where he did impersonation pranks, and has been in some minor comedy movies in the same vein as Rob Schneider movies

I recognize the name Jamie Kennedy, but can't match face to name. Anyway, I bet it will just be Edge hamming it up.

but now it's "Edge as a lawyer who loses his classic car and then goes on a quest to get it back." Edge as a lawyer is funny enough, but him hunting down his car hopefully vigilante style puts it over the top.

I'm a movie buff and do not know who any of those people are Jessica Walter was Lucille Bluth in Arrested Development. She's currently in Retired at 35 on TV Land, with George Segal. Jennifer Esposito was in Spin City and the film Crash.

I had an idea for a WWE film once that would pair Edge as a hammy villain (playing a renegade cop who has devised a terror plot to destroy all of Boston) and Roddy Piper as a grizzled protagonist (playing a veteran cop who has to bring down Edge's character) in a cheesy action thriller. Why the hell don't they do stuff like that?
I also had an idea for Sheamus to be in an Irish Mob movie that revolves around and an underground fighting ring, which I think would be AWESOME.
Also Edge in a badass Zombie movie = BUYS, BUYS AND BUYS.

I want WWE films to just remake Bloodsport. Also, intentionally miscast people as much as possible.
