I'm pretty sure it's a legit injury.

This is a groin pull the likes you've never seen in your life .

First I have heard of this.
Must have become a big deal fairly quickly backstage

Four to six weeks - probably come back as part of the Rumble, then. At least it's nothing serious.

I'm pretty sure it's a legit injury. Yeah, he did not look good last Monday.

What even is life? At least he doesn't have to miss a lot of time. I'm sure they'll find a way to inject him into a program with someone when he comes back. ... This could be a good time to tweak his character a bit.

Also, me gusta your avatar. Yum.

I wasn't debating the legitimacy of the injury.
But I thought I read before on this board that they reported a shorter time-frame for the injury keeping him out of action.
Also, I'm surprised it took WWE.com a week to report it.

he needs to go away for a bit. he's falling into a rut. he needs freshening up a bit. i wish they could find a way to make him likable... Eddy had the benefit of being an underdog face in WCW, an entertaining heel in WCW, an invading cool guy with his WCW pals once debuting in the WWF, then as an entertaining heel in WWF, then he was way over always
Del Rio may never be that over. Just another heel and that's all he'll be, no matter how many times the WWE title gets handed to him.
The WWE also has missed an opportunity to turn Miz into a face. If Miz had lead the charge against Nexus, stepping up with Cena or half against, half helping Cena - that could have been something huge in getting Miz over as Cena's ratings replacement. Serious about this

Maybe his new gimmick when he comes back will involve protecting his groin at all costs. He'll be Alberto Del Groino.

Isn't Ricardo recovering from an injury anyway?

Isn't Ricardo recovering from an injury anyway? Yeah, he's walking around with a neckbrace on. In other news, he adopted a kitty! Awww.

I've heard of a groin pull, but a groin tear?
