I can appreciate its the big reveal and wwe title match next week for the first Raw of the year, but shouldnt they be hyping up the Rumble as well?
They seem to do this every year where they miss out 2 or 3 weeks after TLC to hype Rumble match/ppv. So they can make the first Raw of the year important. I liked last years Miz vs Morrison/steel cage triple threat match and il probably enjoy Punk vs Ziggler this year, but i think having 6 weeks worth to hype the second biggest PPV of the year is more important (especially for the Rumble match itself)
What do you guys think. More time to hype the Rumble ppv/match or make a special first Raw of the year special?

The thing about the Rumble is that there isn't much to hype.
It takes 3-4 weeks to establish the few favorites out of 30 people. They use the extra week to give a few big matches at the beginning of the year then start the rumble build.

The rumble much like WM sells itself.

I'd like them to hype it less. The Rumble match sells itself, and I don't need it spoiled by knowing who will win. Last year it was painfully obvious Del Rio was going to win. I like the idea that anybody from a pool of 6-8 guys could win it.
Realistically any of the following could win it in 2012, depending on the world title results:
- Jericho - Del Rio - Henry (assuming he recovers in time) - Show - Orton - Barrett - Miz - Ziggler - Punk - Kane - Cena - Bryan
Some of them are long shots, and two of them will be ineligable, sure, but it feels wide open at the moment.
