Regardless, it's still not a "boom here's your change". This is going to be like slowly getting into an ice bath.
You know it would be best to just get in there, but, you're not going to.

I think WWE is realizing that guys like Triple H and Undertaker are all but done, Cena and Orton have peaked, and they need to prepare the next generation before the other guys are gone and they have no one over enough to replace them.

It definitely seems a bit of a changing of the guard.
It doesn't, however, now mean that everyone before just disappears. I still confidently predict future title reigns for, for instance, Orton and Cena.
But if there's a general shift in ethos then that's good. Way business has been going post-WrestleMania, they may be aware there's a real need for that, as was the case in 1995.

Way business has been going post-WrestleMania, they may be aware there's a real need for that, as was the case in 1995. The biggest thing that needs to change is that WWE needs to get away from the concept of "There can be only one", and cut someone off at the knees if they get "too close" to "the one" (no, not Billy Gunn). If someone's got a good deal of momentum, don't burn it off because you haven't ridden "the one" into the ground yet (ie : when they burned off Kofi's momentum when he got too over against Orton). If Dolph or Ryder or whoever get "too close" to Punk or Cena or whoever, don't job them down the card so that people don't care about them anymore. Find a way to keep them busy without telling the fans that they're not important.

I didn't know Kofi Kingston was considered an "Internet Darling". Simple Formula: Wrestler has fans:Not internet darling Wrestler has fans that use the internet:Internet Darling Wrestler got popular before WWE due to a largly internet fan base liking him:Eliteist Internet Demi God

I know a forum where Kofi is considered the worst in WWE. Definitely not a darling there anyway. Yeah it's crazy how differing opinions can be from board to board. Kofi's pretty damn good imo

WWE can't afford to do that now considering, as a result of doing it before, they're in this situation right now. They need new talent to flourish now before they find themselves in 5-6 years where Cena/Orton aren't around and you defiantly can't pluck HHH/Taker from retirement to go one more time.

It depends how the change is treated. If Ryder and Bryan are taken seriously (within the contexts of their characters) as champions, then yes it might be occuring. If they are both treated as joke/fluke/loser champions who drop the title too quickly, then no it won't.

That is a beautiful photo, right there. Fresh faces, all psyched to be there, no one's jaded yet... love it.
As for Kofi, I don't know anyone who dislikes him other than Randy Orton.

Even Punk is calling it: Holy shit that's an amazing photo!! A week or two after Punk's promo back in June, I made a thread here asking if a new era was beginning in the WWE. Triple H replaced Vince as the head authority figure, he appeased the Internet fans by giving Zack Ryder a push, and CM Punk seemed to be the top guy in the company. A few months later I couldn't believe how wrong I was to ever think a new era was beginning. Well now I'm actually thinking maybe it was. I made another thread one time asking when the New Generation era started. While the WWE didn't even use this term until after WrestleMania X, people were posting events ranging from 1992-1995. I think that's what we're seeing now. Some eras we can pint point their beginnings, like the Attitude Era with the Bret/Austin submission match, whereas others are more gradual like the New Generation. I believe that might be what we're seeing now. Or at least I hope so anyway!

Even Punk is calling it: {Spoiler} I guess I'm going to be "left behind", then, but I don't think there's a single person in that photo who's good enough to lace Mark Henry's boots.

Veterans are often considered much better than the new class, and the sentiment is often stated in those terms (boot-lacing). That doesn't mean new stars shouldn't be built; the new stars of today are the beloved veterans of tomorrow.

Eventually the company is going to have to pull the trigger and make these guys (along with others not pictured like Del Rio, Miz, and Ziggler) the main focus of the company. Taker probably had one more match until he calls it quits, Triple H is in semi-retirement phase, and even vets like Kane and Show probably won't be around in a couple years. Now's the time to give the exposure and make them look important, and not pull any of the "Yo Yo booking" the company has become infamous for over the past few years.

And who would have believed, 6-7-8-9 years ago, that leading this group would be that scrawny, shorts-wearing, bleached blonde, unlikely....looking like he just got out of the crackhouse....bags under the eyes having....runaway hobo teen-like guy from IWA Mid South, breaking his bones all over Ian Rotten's shitty ring, CM Punk?

Maybe, but it won't last. It never does. I predict there will be about 10 "WWE screwed this angle up" threads before the New Year.
