A couple of years ago I held a contest to determine who were the Greatest WWE Tag Team Champions. With a number of new teams holding the titles since then and new posters on this board I decided to hold it again.
The rules are the same as before. Every day you choose which of the two teams are better. The losing team is eliminated. The winning team goes on to face another opponent the next day. If a team wins 7 straight matches they move on to Round 2 and two new teams are chosen. The last team left standing are the winners.
One major change from before is that all teams are not eligible. Any team whose combined number of reigns total under 30 days are out. I know this angers fans of The 123 Kid & Bob "Sparkpulgg" Holly but there's no way any of these teams were going to win anyway.
Our last match was a hard fought battle. Santana survived a prolonged beatdown from the greasers and tagged Putski. Putski hit the Polish Hammer on Deuce but Domino broke up the pin. As a brawl broke out Putski was distracted by Cherry and Domino gave Putski a low blow. Deuce followed with the Crack 'em in da Mouth for the win.
But up next are our third Hall of Fame team as well as the patriarchs of one of wrestling's greatest families.
