A couple of years ago I held a contest to determine who were the Greatest WWE Tag Team Champions. With a number of new teams holding the titles since then and new posters on this board I decided to hold it again.
The rules are the same as before. Every day you choose which of the two teams are better. The losing team is eliminated. The winning team goes on to face another opponent the next day. If a team wins 7 straight matches they move on to Round 2 and two new teams are chosen. The last team left standing are the winners.
One major change from before is that all teams are not eligible. Any team whose combined number of reigns total under 30 days are out. I know this angers fans of The 123 Kid & Bob "Sparkpulgg" Holly but there's no way any of these teams were going to win anyway.
Our last match was over pretty early. The greasers jumped the Samoans at the bell and Deuce hit Afa with the Crack 'em in da Mouth, but Afa just shook it off like nothing happened. Stunned the greasers provided little resistance as Sika pinned Domino after a Samoan Drop.
Now we come to one of the most interesting match ups thus far as the Samoans face one of the most influential tag teams of all time.
