Is there any chance that WWE will re-release some sets like the WrestleMania and Survivor Series anthologies without blurs now that they don't need to blur anymore?
Just watched WWE Vintage and they had a couple of matches from the Attitude Era without any blurs and it was sooo much better.

Love the cover for 'The Attitude Era' - not just is the Sgt. Pepper homage genius, but small details like the positioning of the graphfruits and how they are presented ;D

With the exception of the filmed material from WM XIX for the Mania of Wrestlemania documentary all of the PPVs before 2008 would have been shot in SD, and thus would benefit only from less compression by being on Blu Ray. Not that I put it past WWE to dupe people with omgwrestlemaniablurays, they seem to be pretty fond of releasing SD content on Blu Rays.

They really could take advantage of the storage capacity with the old PPV's and such. They could fit several Wrestlemania's on a single disc. So the trade off of more content over visual quality is fine with me. If only they would do it.

Anything more than that, they use 2 discs. And for WM 26, they used 3 discs (one for the show and pre-show battle royal; one for the HoF and bonus matches/segments of the HoF inductees; one for the last Raw and last Smackdown episodes before WM).

That's all HD material, which requires much larger file sizes than the SD content (pre 2008) that we're discussing. If a dual layer Blu Ray disc holds about 50gb, that would allow for about 5 dual layer DVDs worth of SD content on one disc.

Even when the disc is mostly filled with pre-2008 or old, non-WWE footage, which would mean SD, they still won't put more than 4.5 hours of content on 1 disc.

Even when the disc is mostly filled with pre-2008 or old, non-WWE footage, which would mean SD, they still won't put more than 4.5 hours of content on 1 disc. Because they're basically just trying to dupe people. Notice that until about two years ago the 3 disc DVD sets had about 9hrs of content. Now the 3 disc DVD sets have about 6hrs of content and the 2 disc Blu Rays have (at most) 2-3hrs of exclusive footage.

I had a HUGE surprise in the mail today.
I now own the original WrestleMania XX DVD boxset.
This was strange because I was just expecting WrestleMania XIX, which I'm still waiting on.

Code: 2DAY30 I saw that there was an NWO: Back in Black on there for 16 dollars, so that code would be in good use for that. I have 2 copies so I don't need it. But out of print WWE stuff doesn't last long on that site so you have to hurry.

Does anybody know if Raw:The Beginning Season 1 can be brought alone? Do you mean just the first disc? If so I don't know what to tell you.

Do you mean just the first disc? If so I don't know what to tell you. Not the first disc, but the complete first season by itself. I really dont want to have two copies of Season 2
