if you could choose that the wwe could be like any year from it's past , i guess forever or a very long time, what year would you want back ? with things to be just like that year in terms of how feuds, storylines, title changes, ect were done.
i would pick the year 2000.

2002. Brand Split with one World Champion, decent spread of midcard belts (before the mass unifications).

Late 2002-2003. Two separate shows with great rosters basically acting as two separate companies until Mania and Survivor Series.

I'd be cool with 1997 or 2000.

A perfect mix of 2004 Raw and 2009 Smackdown.

1991-92 A whole bunch of over the top kid-friendly cartoon characters in some very violent, evil, hardcore feuds. The production was professional but still had some grit to it. And the announcers treated it like a psuedo-sport. I would ditch modern Raw for the 1991-92 Prime Time Wrestling debate roundtable in a minute.

2002, right before the brand split. An absolutely stacked roster with the right balance of titles, a still-alive tag division, and almost everyone playing an important role on TV.

I miss the way WWF/E used to present itself. Prime Time Wrestling was awesome. I liked how the show was Heenan and Monsoon at the desk and they'd bring up a match on their monitor and "zoom in" (which was just ordinary footage, but it felt much more like they were really hosting it). They'd give a very brief intro and then let the match/segment sell itself. Then afterwards it'd go back to them and rather than run a bunch of filler video packages before cutting to the next match, Heenan and Monsoon would simply talk briefly about what just happened...then move on to the next thing.

2000 or 97. If the show was like the second half of 1997, that'd be great...

2000 right up through WM17. Both talent-wise and booking-wise, it's hard to top.
