I feel bad for Veronica, now her boyfriend is going to disappear from Chikara for awhile. She turned on Marchie Archie. I won't feel bad for her one bit.

Doesn't he have about 5 different Quackendrivers? I'd love if he was just hitting the different variants in numerical order. Q1 Standing Iconoclasm Q2 Cross Legged Tombstone Q3 Spinning Fisherman Driver Q4 Gutwrench Brainbuster He only uses 3, hasn't done the others in years And for a while I thought the 3 thing was like the Jecht Shot in FFX. there was no mark one or two.

So the GEKIDO turnstile has gone around again and it's almost September. WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET THE DIRT ON CHIKARA THAT WAS PROMISED IN JANUARY? I've heard of slow burns before but in this case someone forgot to turn the stove on.

TNA superstar Rubix features in this week's Throwdown Lowdown... or Chikara's Jigsaw, if you please.

8/21/2012: Well, whattaya know? Another great talent now gone from CHIKARA. Unlike some others, that were denied opportunity, that were held back, that were treated unfairly, that had to conform, this one was dispatched in the most disgusting of ways. Another disgusting action from Mike Quackenbush. You finally got to live one of your dreams didn't you? You used the four different Quackendrivers on 17. Right in a row. I guess you were so excited about hitting the first one you forgot to pin 17 and just went for another. You forgot to pin 17 after the second one...and after the third one...and after the fourth one, too. It must have slipped your mind to just cover his shoulders, end the match and collect your point toward a title shot. Because a man of your respectability would never mean to hurt somebody like that, right Mike? Wait...you have before. Twice, in fact. This is not the first time you've deliberately injured 17. This man wasn't your student. Shane Storm was. Remember your match against Shane Storm in Philadelphia? I know you do. He traded a little piece of information for a win. It turned his career around. Ended his losing streak. Put him on an upward career trajectory. He showed initiative. And what did you do? You cast him out. You attacked him. The man you accrued three points with you then treated like a turncoat. Beating him into submission wasn't enough for you. You locked on your CHIKARA Special and even after the bell had rung, you twisted it tighter and tighter because you wanted to send a message. You know why I remember this? I was the referee of that match. When you failed to heed my warnings and kept the hold on, I had no choice but to reverse the decision. Storm was a young man with a promising career. You taught him how to wrestle. You coached him to the Young Lions Cup. You stood beside him as the inaugural King of Trios. And look how you treated him. Now, you've broken bones and torn ligaments and left a man hobbled in the process. I remember a Mike Quackenbush that stood for something. He was a little preachy and a little self-righteous. A man that you could count on to do certain things in a certain way. That adhered to his own code. But the dark side of CHIKARA that GEKIDO sought to expose... you exposed it for them, Mike. There is a different Mike Quackenbush that is not what he claims to be. He doesn't appear very often, but you'll know him by the look in his eyes. Mike, during all our contentious moments as the BDK took CHIKARA to new heights, I never saw that look. You were in control. You weren't some raging lunatic. As calculating as you are, there were rules you played by and you believed in that. Then at "Chikarasaurus Rex" I saw those eyes again. The look on your face as you twisted Shane Storm into submission was the same face I saw as you snapped 17's fingers. After that Event Center of a few weeks back...I can guess what the look in your eyes was like in Indianapolis as you went about your dirty work. 17 will probably never wrestle again. It's like the inmates are running the asylum. Wink Vavasseur, you seem to be the cause of a lot of the same chaos you claim to combat. I know I'm not the only one that feels that way. I see the tweets. I read the forum. People are already looking for an alternative to your way of doing things. I should probably brush up on my politics - when are elections for Director of Fun held again? DS

I'm conflicted. On one hand, Wink is such a great troll, on the other, Sabato is a voice of reason, logic and integrity. Hmm...

8/22/2012: Weekly CHIKARA readers! It's your trusty Director of Fun, Wink Vavasseur, here with a few quick clarifications and updates for you! First of all, it has come to my attention that there may have been some confusion and miscommunication about my final pick for the 2012 edition of King of Trios - the "Submission Squad." I would hate for anyone to think the man directing all the fun doesn't know what's what. When I said I wanted some "international flair," it should have been inferred that I wanted a trio from the "inter", meaning "within" or "inside of," our "nation." And as we all know, St. Louis is smack dab in the middle of this great country of ours, clearly not in France, as some have implied. So, the Submission Squad is truly the exact thing I was looking for! Secondly, it should be obvious that Gary the Barn Owl is not a bird-mascot that sits on his master's gloved hand, but an actual wrestler. It surprises me that so many of you wrestling fans would make that kind of mistake. What, did you think, we had Koko B. Ware coming to KOT? (Hat tip to my research guy for digging out that reference.) No, this Owlman was part of my plan from the beginning, the final piece in a new program being rolled out at King of Trios 2012, the latest innovation to come from my wrestling-math brain trust: The Submission Squad will be the first ever "quatro" in tournament history! There might be loose talk to the contrary in some circles, but I bring a great array of skills and savvy to my position here at CHIKARA. My father Connie spent untold sums of money to send me to some of the finest business schools this country has to offer. As privileged as I've been, I feel it's only fair for me to impart some of the wisdom I've acquired, so I'll begin with a lesson from Business Management 101. When managing a group, you will find there are two types of people who will torpedo the group's productivity: hot-doggers and lollygaggers. Mr. Kingston, it flabbergasts me to see you've held onto that championship belt as long as you have. I think you and I both know which kind of person you are. As the true voice of managerial authority in this company, I've taken it upon myself to find one of the formidable opponents in the game to challenge for your Grand Championship. Unlike our current champion, Tadasuke has the "it factor." He won the Young Lions Cup and never lost it. Since making waves on this side of the Pacific, he's become a man of legendary stature in his home of Asia. If I were you, Mr. Kingston, I'd lay off those hot dogs, because my prediction is that belt won't be holding up your pants for much longer! WiNK

I love the Wink trolling. Especially referencing how Tadasuke never lost the YLC.
