Ever have guys just refuse to leave development? It's six months into my game, and Kassius Ohno has stats all in the high 80s - low 90s. His Tech is at 95 and growing, which means I'm throwinghim into a feud with Daniel Bryan once he graduates.
Other stars in development include Human Tornado, Top Gun Talwar, The Colony, Delirious, and surprisingly, Sylvester LeFort somehow. I've already got some plans, but it's weird that these guys don't want to leave.

With all this talk about women's wrestling in EWR, I decided to give Shimmer a chance. We'll see how it goes.

Obviously it's not a bad thing, though, unlike othee things that happen in the game. I think it has something to do with overness. Guys over a certain rating (65?) cannot stay there anymore.

It's way better than having guys with horrible stats who refuse to go to developmental.

Just started a WCW 1996 game after I got mad at my 1998 WWF stars for not living up to their potential. Both Rock and Austin were destined for the upper midcard at best.
So currently my game plan has been to get the NWO together (check) hire some future stars to build up such as Jericho and Raven (check). And finally use my finances to inject the WWF with a lethal dose of pooooooooison by signing their biggest stars (in progress)
Bret's contract will be up for negotiation this month. I'm not sure weither he'll join the NWO or WCW yet though. HBK's contract will be up in about a year and a half so I'll see what happens with him.
Also, I'm hemoraging about 200k a month (even more after future signings I imagine) so I'm debating between cutting fat or maybe just hoping the profits catch up before I go broke. We'll see.

Ive been playing EWR for a few weeks now, playing as TNA, I didnt install any updates so Ive got the very random 2002 era TNA roster, I managed to get a prime time slot on ESPN 2 and Im about 4 weeks into that deal, my highest rating so far is a 0.98.
Got a few questions for more experianced players:
If I install and update thingy, for example bringing the roster up to date with current times, will that erase my game so far or what? I'd like to install them but I'd rather not have to start the game up again.
Regarding TV deals, any advice? I'd really like to get onto a bigger network, apart from making sure my Risk Level is appropriate is there anything else to consider?
Is auto booker worth using at all?

If you install the updated files, it won't erase your game but you won't be able to use updated rosters/networks etc in your current TNA game. Even if your risk level is correct, you still need to have appropriate production values and expected ratings (ask Sophie) to get a TV deal and even then, it can take a few tries to get a network to speak to you. And Auto Booker is worth using if you can't be bothered to book a 12 segment show, but you don't get any results, just an acknowledgement that a show took place.

Well things just got even more interesting in my game:
Vince McMahon is retiring from the WWE in 1 month. Linda McMahon is retiring from the WWE in 1 month. Mike Sanders is looking to start his own promotion.
Can't wait to see what goes down!

Mike Sanders' promotion will be above average.

My first diary, with interesting notes
ECW Saturday Night opens up with CageKing, who announces that tonight there will be 4 Survivor Series type matches to determine a Battle Royal next week, and the winner will become the first ever ECW International Champion. Whoever is on the winning team, eliminated or not, will be eligable for next week. He also announces the main event in which Raven will defend The ECW Championship against Tommy Dreamer, Raven and a mystery opponent
Note: All Teams were legit chosen by Random.Org with the exception of one thing, the faces and heels are opponents obviously but I put 8 Tweeners in the mix so 4 were randomly put on face teams and 4 were randomly put on heel teams
Match 1: Team 1: Jeff Hardy, Tensai, Shane Helms, R-Truth, and Glacier Team 2: Doug Williams, Brian Christopher, Christian Cage, The Barbarian, and Shannon Moore
1. Shannon Moore by Shane Helms via Vertebreaker 2. Shane Helms by Christian Cage via Top Rope Splash 3. R-Truth by Brian Christopher via Hip Hop Drop (Alabama Jam) 4. Doug Williams by Tensai via Powerslam 5. Tensai by Barbarian via Kick of Death 6. Jeff Hardy by Brian Christopher via Weird Kick 7. Christian Cage by Glacier via Bulldog 8. The Barbarian by Glacier via Bulldog 9. Brian Christopher by Glacier via Cyclone Kick (B.C. had it won via Alabama Jam but Ref was knocked out) Soul Survivor: Glacier
Match 2: Team 1: Stevie Richards, Blue Nova, AJ Styles, Blue Meanie, and Matt Hardy Team 2: Steve Blackman, Kurt Angle, Jerry Lynn, Scott Taylor, and Tatanka
1. AJ Styles by Scott Taylor via Hurricarana 2. Jerry Lynn by Matt Hardy via Twist of Fate (Assuming this because the report says the guy went to get some beer during the match) 3. Matt Hardy by Tatanka via Stump Piledriver 4. Steve Blackman by Blue Meanie via DDT 5. Blue Nova by Tatanka via End of The Trail 6. Blue Meanie by Kurt Angle via T-Bone Suplex 7. Stevie Richards by Tatanka via End of The Trail Survivors: Kurt Angle, Scott Taylor, and Tatanka
Match 3: Team 1: Terry Funk, Sabu, Pitbull #1, Super Crazy, and Christopher Daniels Team 2: Mosh, Bull Buchanen, Taz, Test, and Gangrel 1. Bull Buchanen by Terry Funk via Moonsault 2. Christopher Daniels by Mosh via The Moshpit 3. Gangrel by Terry Funk via Full Nelson Slam 4. Test by Sabu via Running Butt Smash (That's what they called it) 5. Mosh by Sabu via Arabian Facebuster 6. Super Crazy by Taz via Tazzmission 7. Pitbull #1 by Taz via Tazzmission 8. Taz by Sabu via Arabian Facebuster (Once Again, Ref knocked out costed the heels here) Survivors: Terry Funk and Sabu
Match #4: Team 1: Pitbull #2, Rob Van Dam, Taka Michinoku, Charlie Hass, and Rhyno Team 2: Mike Awesome, Meng, Edge, Brian Lee, and Steve Corino 1 Charlie Hass by Steve Corino via Powerbomb 2 Edge by Rob Van Dam via 5 Star Frog Splash 3 Steve Corino by Taka Michinoku via Spinning Clothesline 4 Pitbull #2 by Meng via Thrust Kick 5 Taka Michinoku by Meng via Bodyslam 6 Mike Awesome by Rhyno via Backbreaker 7 Rhyno by Brian Lee via Piledriver 8 Meng by Rob Van Dam via Spinning Bulldog 9 Rob Van Dam by Brian Lee via Prime Time Slam Soul Survivor: Brian Lee
Main Event: Raven defeats Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, and Curt Hennig in a 4 Corners Match to Retain The ECW Championship Raven pinned The Sandman after a Low Blow Kick
Notes: Glacier wants to be Higher on The Card (In next weeks Battle Royal) Jerry Lynn wants to be Higher on the card (In Next Weeks Battle Royal) Pitbull #1 wants to be Higher on the card (In Next Weeks Battle Royal) Taka Michinoku wants to be Higher on the card (Only one screwed but I can find something for him to do) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Week 2: Shane Douglas Interview as he is set to defend the title against Taka Michinoku in tonight's Night of Champions theme...however is he in for a surprise....
ECW Television Championship: Ken Shamrock defeats Shane Douglas and Taka Michinoku to win The ECW TV Championship In his debut match, Ken Shamrock comes out and dominates both The TV Champion and Taka Michinoku and makes Douglas tap out to an Ankle Lock
ECW Tag Team Championship: Perry Saturn and John Kronus defeats New Jack and Mustafa to retain The ECW Tag Team Championships Saturn rolls up New Jack and holds the tights. After the match, Jack and Mustafa lay them out in a post match attack
Brian Lee talks about the upcoming Battle Royal, and how he will be the first Internatonal Champion
Main Event: Battle Royal for ECW International Championship (New Title) Brian Lee vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Edge vs. Glacier vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Kurt Angle vs. Meng vs. Mike Awesome vs. Pitbull #1 vs. R-Truth vs. Sabu vs. Scott Taylor vs. Shane Helms vs. Steve Blackman vs. Steve Corino vs. Super Crazy vs. Tatanka vs. Tensai vs. Terry Funk

Christopher Daniels by Glacier 16. Edge by Scott Taylor
Final 4: Brian Lee, Glacier, Sabu, Scott Taylor (Ironically all survived in one way or another in all 4 matches)
17. Sabu by Brian Lee 18. Scott Taylor by Glacier
Final 2: Brian Lee vs. Glacier
19. Brian Lee by Glacier Winner and New ECW International Champion: Glacier!
Notes: Scott Taylor was an absolute BEAST, so I might need to put him in a feud with either Glacier or Shamrock and push him towards the title....I might actually break up Too Much with Scott turning on Brian for being the weak link (in the likely event I need to release Brian Christopher from his contract) I am probably going to quit this game and either start a WCW or WWF game....2 weeks in and money wise I only have 2000 dollars left
EDIT: Week 3: Glacier defeats Joey Matthews in a Quick Squash Match Headbangers defeats Too Much: Thrasher pinned Christopher after Scott accidentally hits him with a clothesline Kronus defeats Pitbull #2, Mustafa, and Matt Hardy in a 4 Corners Match: Kronus pins Matt Hardy after a Perry Saturn run in/DeathValley Driver Sabu defeats Brian Lee via DQ: Ring Bell Shot to The Head. Post Match Attack follows leaving Sabu lying in the ring ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ECW Heatwave
Pre Show: Raven Interview
Show: Glacier defeats Stevie Richards to Retain ECW International Championship Too Much defeats The Suicide Blondes and The Headbangers in a 3 Way Dance (Scott Taylor pinned Christian Cage) Curt Hennig defeats The Sandman (Post Match Attack on Sandman) Yokozuna defeats Bam Bam Bigelow and Bill Goldberg in a Triple Threat Match (Yoko pinned Bigelow) Ken Shamrock defeats Shane Douglas in a Hardcore Match to retain the ECW TV Title (Douglas accepted handshake only to attack Shamrock after) The Eliminators (Saturn and Kronus) defeat The Hardy Boys, The Pitbulls and The Gangstas (New Jack and Mustafa) in a TLC Match to retain The ECW Tag Team Championships Brian Lee defeats Sandman in a Falls Count Anywhere Match (Sabu attacks ref after match) Raven defeats Tommy Dreamer in a Steel Cage Match to retain The ECW Championship
Note: Kinda sad when the highest rated segment was the interview....and I am going to make a new game considering I am about 100,000 in the hole

I'm wondering how ridiculous/impossible it would be to keep unemployed and write a diary based on the CPU's booking of a company, whilst trying to maintain the illusion that said company has some sort of actual direction with their booking.

Jeez, still have this thread bookmarked, reminded me of how hyped I was to play some EWR this summer. But then Finals and Summer School happened, and I haven't played since around late May. I could get back into it, though. Anybody recommend some good scenarios?

Yeah, now that I'm done with classes and have come up with ideas perfect for my old WWE game (which I stopped playing a few weeks before Wrestlemania 29), I wanna get back into it. But I also got a new computer and I still have yet to move stuff off the old one.

So, I've gotten back into TEW 2005, this time with the July 2013 update (which is 15 megabytes, way too much for a regular update), and I'm going through the first week as WWE in August. Let's just say everybody retains at MITB.
Here's what I got going below: WWE Championship Money in the Bank winner: Daniel Bryan My pick for the WWE MITB match this Sunday.
World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank winner: Fandango An upset victory that nobody would exactly expect.
Feuds heading into Summerslam: AJ Lee/Kaitlyn (to end) Cena/Henry Orton/Bryan (to end) Shield/Usos/Wyatt Family (heading into a Fatal 4 Way including Mysterio and Cara; could most likely end at SS)) Jericho/Ryback (might have Kofi thrown into the mix against Ryback) Barrett/Fandango (to head into Night of Champions for the briefcase) Lesnar/Punk (set for only SummerSlam, unless they end up in Night of Champions) Axel/Miz/Christian (triple threat) Ambrose/Bourne (returning, planning on giving Evan a "welcome back" title reign) Ziggler/Del Rio (might end at NoC, if not SS)
I most likely will fuse together the Cena/Henry and Jericho/Ryback feuds, along with maybe a third feud from the above list, for Night of Champions to have a big Six-Pack Challenge like WWE's 2010 edition of NoC IRL. Either that or have two random bonus superstars, like maybe two out of RVD, Bray Wyatt, the Shield, or another upper-midcarder. I might have Daniel Bryan cash in on the winner before the PPV ends.
Summerslam card (from top matches down to the bottom level)
WWE Championship - No DQ John Cena (c) vs Mark Henry
I Quit Randy Orton vs Daniel Bryan
CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar
World Heavyweight Championship Alberto Del Rio (c) vs Dolph Ziggler
Steel Cage Chris Jericho vs Ryback
WWE Tag Team Championship - Fatal 4 Way The Shield (Roman Reigns/Seth Rollins) vs The Usos (Jimmy/Jey) vs The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper/Erick Rowan) vs Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara
WWE Intercontinental Championship Curtis Axel (c) vs The Miz vs Christian
WWE Divas Championship - Ladder AJ Lee (c) vs Kaitlyn
WWE United States Championship Dean Ambrose (c) vs Evan Bourne
PRE-SHOW KICK-OFF Fandango vs Wade Barrett
My self-set goals: - Rehire somebody who hasn't been world champion (Morrison, MVP, Carlito, Lashley, etc) and then MAKE them world champion soon after rehiring. - Make Ted DiBiase Jr. and Cody Rhodes main event stars (whether a feud or a tag team). Must happen regardless of year. - Have five or more TNA stars (who started in this scenario as part of it) stolen from them, or picked up if released. (So far, got Sting and Velvet Sky) - Have more than five NXT stars called up. Make sure two or more are champions before the end of 2014. (Oliver Grey, Emma and Leo Kruger called up so far, mainly because of the firing spree that may give me Sting and Velvet) - Give a semi-active wrestler a title reign just for prestige. (Maybe Undertaker heading into WrestleMania 30) - Make Bray Wyatt a champion of some kind before the end of the year. (Most likely IC or US) - Have both MITBs cashed in before WrestleMania. - Destroy Vickie Guerrero's career willingly before firing her. - Give at least five superstars new gimmicks at random. (So far, Kane will be set to turn heel by being brainwashed by the Wyatts into joining their family)
Oh, it's going to be a suicide mission (not literally), with TEW going slow to start off. Hopefully, with promotions possibly closing, it'll work faster with more recognition of the scenario.
Also, I'm trying to get UltraMantis Black as well. Alex Silva, Matt Silva (who I called up just to send back to NXT personally) and Ezekiel Jackson are in NXT right now, with Ultramantis most likely joining them. Not to mention Alex and Matt are also a team.

Okay, need help. I'm in Wednesday of week 2 of August, and when trying to head to the next day, the game freezes full-time when loading "random incidents". I've tried advancing three times in a row, and it's stuck. Is there anyway to force it to Thursday so I don't have to start over entirely on my game?
