www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_apparition/20 reviews in...and still at 0%. And there's no "well, it could be a fresh if graded on a different scale". Nope, every single review is straight-up "rotten". It's gonna take an act of Congress to get this a "fresh" review...or Armond White. Plus, it's amazing that for a major release (Warner Bros. and all), I've only seen commercials for it a week before it was released.

They say its not just bad, but it rips multiple things off from many movies.
I normally like terrible movies, and even this sounds like too much for me. Original terrible is good, copied terrible is butt nasty.

I was looking up movie times on my phone and I saw this had 0% on RT. It looks absolutely terrible.

Saw a preview of it when I saw the Bourne Legacy. Doesn't suprise me, it looks as unoriginal as a movie comes.
If anything, I'll see it on a slow day on HBO.

It looks like every other generic horror movie from the last 7 years. Exactly. Like 95% of all horror movies are just flat out bad, and not in the good way. They continue to get made because middle school girls and and low wage white trash in their 20's and 30's continue to go see them. |

Is this the Sam raimi produced dibbuck box movie? If so the real story that this is based on is really cool as hell. A possessed box that people buy and sell on ebay. read the stories, its been discussed on coast to coast am a lot as well. neat story, I thought it would make great movie.

No, this one is about a group of college kids who create a ghost by thinking about it. |
