Dunkin Donuts in Quebec is pretty crappy (don't know about the rest of Canada) so I can't really give a fair judgement.
Krispy Kreme donuts are amazing though. Tim Horton's coffee is my life.

I was really unimpressed with Tim Hortons' coffee when I had it, but their donuts were amazing.
My ideal combo would be Dunkin' coffee and Tim Hortons donuts.

The greatest invention in Doughnut history. You know what you're talking about. Then again, here in Michigan, there aren't many Dunkin' Donuts or Krispy Kremes, mainly Tim Horton's. But Tim Horton's is delicious, so that's my choice.

Krispy Kreme got crushed where I live. There's Dunkin Donuts everywhere and 1 Krispy Kreme opened and it barely lasted a year before closing. The moral is, people dont go to these places to buy dounts they go for coffee and bagels. This is exactly what happened here as well. and I'm fine with it, I found Dunkin to be way better at everything.

Despite my signature, Krispy Kreme donuts are better than Dunkin' Donuts. It just seems like Dunkins Donuts are poorly made. At least Krispy Kreme is partnered with the Local gas station, so it at least has a chance of surviving. Its just that they dont have the variety that Dunkin has.
Dunkin does have the tastiest mass produced coffee in America. Ive been to Tim Hortons in New York, its better than Starbucks but its just a bit wierd. They dont have the right blend for some reason. Starbucks is just... Burnt. And i know the coffee purists say that REAL coffee is supposed to taste burnt, but i beg to differ.

Ok, I'm gonna go on my Dunkin' Donuts rant that I've been holding in for years now - YOU'RE NOT A COFFEE SHOP AND STOP TREATING STARBUCKS AS YOUR COMPETITION!!! Seriously, you're a donut shop. I'm tired of going into Dunkin' Donuts looking to get a goddamn donut, only having 3 people on line, yet I have to wait on that line forever and a day because they're all ordering fancy coffees that take 20 minutes to make. Then when I actually get up to the front only to discover that you only make like a half dozen different types of donuts anywhere. Fred the Baker didn't die making donuts just so you could sell out his legacy for coffee beans!

Dunkin Donuts are very much franchised so your mileage may vary on the donut variety. Like my local DD has a great variety of donuts. They have this new donut called Cherry Chocolate that's delicious. The problem I have with Tim Hortons' coffee is that it's very bland. Just seems to be missing something. I thought it might just be an American TH thing, but a few of my friends in the Canadas agree. Still way better than Starbucks, though. Maybe Tim Hortons needs to look into making K-Cups if they don't already. I've been addicted to my Keurig machine since I got it and I would buy TH k-cups to give their coffee a second chance.

If any of you live in Central California, Busy Bee Bakery in the city of coalinga can't be beat, especially their apples fritters which are the size of a hubcap. Seriously, these are the best donuts I've had.

I was all about Dunkin until I went to Fredonia last winter and had my first taste of Tim Horton's. Now they get my vote.

Here in Ohio we have all three but growing up in NJ there were only Dunkin Doughnuts so i grew up with DD but once I moved to the Midwest I got exposed to Krispy Kreme and haven't looked back. I don't drink coffee so I base it strictly on the doughnuts. Krispy kreme's regular glazed & Crullers are fantastic. Plus DD doesn't sell regular Crullers anymore so they can get lost.

I find DD's coffee to be very watery and bland (least here it is). Starbucks is over-rated crap. McDonald's coffee isn't too shabby. Best coffee I ever had was from a specialty store where I got this dark heavy roast one from somewhere in Africa. I wish I could remember the name of it because it was perfect. Kept me wired all day but damn was it ever good.
