Huh. I stopped playing this game, because you almost NEED to play it non-stop to keep up, and most of it is just pointless. I guess I've either grown out of, or grown sick of, these kinds of games (I played this one, Zombie Cafe, and The Tribez pretty regularly, then just stopped one day on all of them).
Most of the stuff I've seen y'all updating on the previous few updates just aren't enough to bring me back.
Glad everyone who is still involved is enjoying it.

I'm reaching my wit's end tho. On top of everything being expensive as two hearts and a leg. It takes like a day and twelve hours to build things now. The payouts or jobs aren't enuff for all this demand.

The payouts or jobs aren't enuff for all this demand. That, too. I can't imagine a lot of people utilize the donuts to speed up the time frame, so beyond being pointless busy work, I can't see the reason why everything takes 36 hours...

It's 36 hours to just add more time to the game. That isn't too bad, IMO, I mean after building the Escalator to Nowhere, Toothchipper and Magnifying Glass, 36 hours is a breeze.

I would even go as far to say I actually hate the show. I will be willing to give this game a go though because I enjoy Tapped Out so much; It's worth giving this game a go. I wonder though if they'll have all the issues the Simpsons game had at launch though - that game was unplayable for quite awhile, I can't count the amount of times I had to restart due to it losing my data.

New update and it is a tie into to Sunday where Homer eats to death. New premium item is the Cremo Bot. The Capitol City Goofball has been added to the FP rewards. Also talk of something major dropping by this time next week at the latest but I have no clue what.

I gotta admit, I'm only playing to get all the land at this point. I might switch over to the Family Guy one when it comes out next week.

New update today. Haven't played it yet but from the description it sounds like Wacking Day but with bunnies.

New update today. Haven't played it yet but from the description it sounds like Wacking Day but with bunnies. Think it's an Easter update, first quest is to prepare for Whacking Day, but I doubt it's going down like that, given Homer in a bunny outfit on the title screen, also, Easter being this weekend.

The update text says to put down your whacking stick nad grab a bunny stunner. So I'm guessing it's like whacking day with Rabbits

Well, at least it's something to force me back into the game on a regular basis and make time for it again. I've been neglecting it.

Couple of notes as I am playing the new update.
You now get Friend Points for EVERY action someone does in your town instead of just the vandalism. You now have a job progress bar when you check on actions in the Quest list.

I am very upset with EA right now.
My wife just updated her game and apparently the "confirm donut spend" option was reset to "Off" when she had it "On." While she was browsing the new Easter premium items she accidentally tapped on the "4500 blue easter eggs" and had 50 donuts deducted.
She immediately contacted EA customer support and relayed this information to a live advisor. The advisor informed her that they "don't deal with accidental purchases" and offered only 15 donuts compensation. My wife stated that this wasn't right and that she wanted her 50 donuts back. The advisor then stated that the "Confirm donut spend" option is reset with every update and that she needs to change it back every time. My wife and I were both unaware of this. The advisor asked where my wife purchased the donuts. My wife told him that they were all earned through gameplay; she has never spent any money playing the game.
My wife told the advisor that this seemed shady on EA's part and could result in "accidental" purchases for a lot of other players that do not know about the option being reset. The advisor ignored this comment and asked if there was anything else they could assist with. My wife replied, asking for the current issue to be resolved instead of trying to change the subject. The advisor then stated that they were ending the chat. The chat was disconnected before my wife could reply.
She just sent an email to EA detailing the problem and the horrible experience with the live advisor. Hopefully she'll get this issue resolved fairly. Until then, neither of us will be playing the game anymore.

The part about the warning being reset with every update is a lie (at least on iOS). I just double checked on mine and the warning is still on and I have gone through at least the last 3 updates without resetting it. The fact that she didn't actually purchase the donuts but earned them though gameplay will be what stops them from refunding them. Since no actual cash changed hands, EA has no reason to refund the donuts. The shitty customer service is just unacceptable though.
