I am very upset with EA right now. My wife just updated her game and apparently the "confirm donut spend" option was reset to "Off" when she had it "On." While she was browsing the new Easter premium items she accidentally tapped on the "4500 blue easter eggs" and had 50 donuts deducted. She immediately contacted EA customer support and relayed this information to a live advisor. The advisor informed her that they "don't deal with accidental purchases" and offered only 15 donuts compensation. My wife stated that this wasn't right and that she wanted her 50 donuts back. The advisor then stated that the "Confirm donut spend" option is reset with every update and that she needs to change it back every time. My wife and I were both unaware of this. The advisor asked where my wife purchased the donuts. My wife told him that they were all earned through gameplay; she has never spent any money playing the game. My wife told the advisor that this seemed shady on EA's part and could result in "accidental" purchases for a lot of other players that do not know about the option being reset. The advisor ignored this comment and asked if there was anything else they could assist with. My wife replied, asking for the current issue to be resolved instead of trying to change the subject. The advisor then stated that they were ending the chat. The chat was disconnected before my wife could reply. She just sent an email to EA detailing the problem and the horrible experience with the live advisor. Hopefully she'll get this issue resolved fairly. Until then, neither of us will be playing the game anymore. From what I've seen on the Simpsons Tapped Out board, they are pretty good about refunding donuts, file an email complaint. I've also heard the "confirm spend" thing always get reset, never had it happen. When I had issues a while back, not getting into the game, they fixed the problem quickly, but I didn't get any donuts for it, though lots of other people have. So, it seems hit and miss at best, keep trying. |

The donut spend warning has never reset on me... and this is the first I've heard of it.

I've never had to reset the donut confirm thing either.
And I found out that people either get more pink eggs or more blue eggs. I'm getting more pink than blue.

still keeps crashing on me. its getting frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! f***, you too? I'm trying to go to towns and it just won't stop crashing. This happens every so often. Sometimes it's completely fine then others it's non f***ing stop with the crashing. |

The crashing thing happened to me with the Valentine's update. I had to delete and re-install the game, then power down both my devices and restart them and it the app worked again.

Anyone liking this Easter update? It is like everything I hated about the last few updates tripled. It took me roughly 2500 donuts to finally get Sharie Bobbins and Hugs Bunny. I'm not mad though, because of certain factors I not allowed to talk about on this board. If I spent money though, I'd be pissed. |

speaking of spending money, i finally gave into the pressure and bought donuts last week. got the email confirmation, plus had the money taken off my credit card, but i never got the donuts

Getting the eggs is pretty slow... But got some good stuff so far... Like Hugs Bunny, Banana Dictataship, and the Blocko Store and other stuff.
Been cleaning up my Springfield recently. Moved the power plant away from the town centre, moved the schools to more open areas.. Put the prison on an "Island" an idea I nicked from other Springfields I have seen. Premium stuff like Camp Krusty, Casino Pow Wow, and Mount Carlmore in more rural areas... Shame there is no desert terrain in the game.
Looking better.

I'm enjoying the update, but don't think that there's much chance of getting anything without buying extra eggs. I know that's how EA works, but it sucks some of the fun out of events like this.

Only special item I've gotten so far was the Banana Dictatorship. Other than that, it's been all fences and ponds.

For me this is the most frustrating of the "holiday" updates; the length of time it takes to reach 500 eggs only to be presented with a f***ing pond, fences or the unusable pile of eggs - it's ridiculous.
I've got Hugs Bunny, and the Banana thing but not having much joy getting other interesting things.

Only premium things I have gotten are the rabbit with wings and Johnny Fiesta's. Everything else has been ponds, egg decoration or fence (but not enough to get close to the doughnut prize). |

The worst of it is with the gold eggs - three times I've had a go at them (on the verge of getting another shot at them), and I started well by receiving Hugs Bunny, but since then it's been the arch and then the picketed fences  |

Thank you guys who visit my town but I can't for the life of me get to return the favor. Game just keeps crashing when I try to go other towns. Been happening for a few days now.
