Never underestimate the power of a good lawyer. This should be the definition of open and shut case. Her friend said they had been drinking. A breathalyser proved she had been drinking (way over the limit) and in her impaired state she lied AND tried to bribe an officer. The fact that she could get a lesser punishment by pleading not guilty (another lie!) is an absolute joke. Being in an impaired state all but makes the lying and "bribery" legal non issues. That happens in 99% of DUI cases because people cannot make sound judgements which is needed to prove guilt in certain crimes which bribery is one in most places. You cannot prove intent in this unless she had the money on her and tried to give it to the cop or came to him sober and tried to do the deal again. Also, until the verifiable facts of the cases come out, you cannot say she is factually guilty. I believe part of her case is she wasn't in fact driving but either walking to the car or at the bar when arrested, so unless the officer himself saw her driving, she cannot be guilty. See Kurt Angle driving through Pittsburgh hitting cars and being found at home drunk and pilled out his mind. Because no one could place him behind the wheel 100% he could not be found guilty.

I bet you if someone did a study, they'd find a direct relation between how much fans will berate a superstar for a DUI and how popular said superstar is. If CM Punk got a DUI... If CM Punk got a DUI the universe would implode.

.20 is so ridiculously drunk she wasn't anywhere near in her right mind, she was almost certainly blacked out. I doubt she even remembers offering the bribe.
.20 - .25, that's around when people start passing out with the .25 end pretty close to fatal levels for some people.
This is not a "had some drinks at the bar and got behind the wheel a little too early" kind of deal.
Picture yourself home on your day off on the computer, watching TV etc with a 24 pack of beer next to you. 6 hours later you've drank 18 of them. You're roughly in the territory Cameron was in when she was pulled over.
I wonder how she's even attempting to claim "Not Guilty" here unless the claim is that she didn't blow that and it outright didn't happen period, or that she wasn't behind the wheel.
