Holy crap, it's Bono! When did he join the Avengers? HAHA! I think it's meant to be Renner, but now I've read that, I cannot un-see it!

What's even the gimmick for the Joker-half face cover?

I for one think they're brilliant. The ones with the Joker face covering the batfaces are especially nice.

What's even the gimmick for the Joker-half face cover? underneith the Joker face is the title character (Batman/Batgirl) face, So it's acting as a mask, It's stupid, I want killer artwork for my covers not a dumb gimmick. *Sidenote* why it's on Batgirl's is a mystery as her issue was the conclusion to the Knightfall arc (Not THAT Knightfall), And "DOTF" was the final Page.

And the trend of Marvel Now chasing me further and further away from modern comics continues. Out of interest, what would you actually like from Marvel? I'd like to see a team of classic Avengers, preferably featuring some criminally underused members like Black Knight, Crystal, Sersi or Vision, fighting classic Avengers villains with the Mansion as their base, Jarvis as their butler, and someone like Gyrich as their government liaison. I'd like it even more if such an Avengers team picked back up on some old threads that seem to have been forgotten, similar to how Busiek resolved the Benedict/Masque situation. I'd like to see a return of Avengers Solo so that even lesser-used Avengers such as Stingray and Starfox can occasionally get some love. I'd like to see characters like Wonder Man and Quasar get their own titles again. I'd like to see the original Guardians of the Galaxy get at least a mini-series, as the cancellation of their old on-going left a lot of unanswered questions.

Black Knight is joining Gambit's support cast in his solo for a bit starting issue 7 I believe. Avengers Solo is a missed opportunity, especially with so many Avengers title atm. Would have been a ripe time for a return. Wonder Man did get a teeny tiny bit of a reprise from Bendis this week and he may be instrumental in what is assumed to be a return of the Wasp story. Never gonna happen with the new team about to hit Hollywood and get f***ed by Bendis....but I suppose you never know if they want to cash in in 2 years when the movie is due and want to have more titles with the same title on the shelves.

Heh? Black Knight... a supporting character in a /Gambit/ comic? That seems random as hell, unless it also involves Exodus somehow. Still, any exposure is good exposure, I suppose/hope...
Agreed 100%.
I heard about that, and frankly it's about time they did so, but at this point I don't have any faith in Bendis whatsoever. I'd find it to be funny as hell if he finally did right by a classic Avenger just in time for him to leave, though.
Yeah, I've resigned myself to that ever since the new team was created, which is part of why I loathe it so much.

I did love the early early Nineties Guardians of the Galaxy with Jim Valentino when he was writing and drawing it. Once he left for Image, it dipped a lot in quality though

I didnt mind that version and loved the issue 25 cover I think, it was shiny and had a big shiny Galactus because in their future Surfer was Quasar.
I dont know, I just loved the cover.

I loved that series from beginning to end, though I'll concede that the former was better than the latter.

Optimus Prime Doom: Marvel NOW is a relaunch in the sense that they're releasing new No. 1s, but they haven't rebooted the continuity like DC's New 52 has. ===****=== Also announced is a Secret Avengers title by Nick Spencer, and will have its roots firmly with characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In other words, Totally-Not-Samuel L. Jackson Nick Fury stars, as will Hawkeye, Black Widow, and the Iron Patriot (who's a new guy under the armor, and presumably there due to the armor's presence in Iron Man 3.).
