aah. that would explain it. Marvel completely lost me on most of the X-books with that Schism nonsense and expecting me to take a group of grade school children seriously as the new Hellfire club. damn shame because Jason Aaron's normally a pretty solid writer. maybe somebody like Grant Morrison or Rick Remender could make an idea like that work, but it just came off as too silly for me. and when I can't buy an idea in a superhero comic, you know you pitched a turd-burger.

1. Bendis/Bachalo is another mixed team-up for me. So incredibly wary of Bendis, love Bachalo. So many books in the NOW! thing have this problem, I love half the team, dislike the other.
2. For as awesome as Wolverine & The X-Men is, this new Hellfire Club is seriously a candidate for worst villains of all time.

I honestly think he'd get less grief for it if he just picked a different source to trace from. WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE PORN, LAND? I reckon Porn Land is the real happiest place on Earth

According to some interview I was reading last week, they are set to continue being around and being a 'threat' for the foreseeable future.

Or, Captain America could just beat them all up by himself, to prove he's cool with the mutant community and stuff.

According to some interview I was reading last week, they are set to continue being around and being a 'threat' for the foreseeable future. A threat that can be solved by simply smacking the shit out of them because they're regular 12 year olds standing in front of you giving stupid speeches about how they're going to kill you!!! JUST SLAP THEM IN THE FACE UNTIL THEY CRY AND RUN AWAY!

Sentry: I don't throw everything into the sun. Sentry: I'll just rip in half and leave em in the earth's orbit instead! Sentry: I'll just turn into the Void and devour them all. I can easily revert back to being me.

Wolverine and the X-Men #19 was pretty great. It had three story lines going on, but didn't feel rushed/cramped. Kitty Pryde interviews applicants to replace Husk as a teacher, Wolverine and Rachel Summers track the Hellfire Club, and {Spoiler} Beast tries to figure out a way to heal Broo, who I guess it turns out is not dead. . Also picked up Bedlam #1 this week and, boy, is it dark and disturbing.

They aren't trying to cure bullet in the brain, Broo didn't die, he survived the shot to the head, but the bullet took out his X gene, so he isn't a mutant any more, which would make him just a regular undersized Brood.
