I loved the Season Finale of Parks & Rec. I can't wait to see where they go from here It's kinda neat how last night's finale could've actually served as a very satisfying series finale: Ending on a good note, everyone optimistic about their futures, a final "Damn it Jerry!". But yeah, I'm very much looking forward to seeing how next year unfolds. This show just keeps getting better and better. The idea of Whitney Cummings and Dane Cook having sitcoms next season is vomit-inducing, but a full slate of P&R and a renewed Happy Endings is exciting. |

CBS, I'd hate to see it go, but just go ahead and cancel CSI: New York already! The past 2 seasons, the final episode would've worked very well as a defacto series finale. It almost seems cruel to keep bringing it back. If the show gets renewed, the writers are bound to look at each other and go "Well, we already used up our best ideas. What now?" Just end the series. I can't go through yet another series finale. 3 of them is just too much.

ABC renewed Last Man Standing.
ABC also picked up to series Malibu Country(starring Reba McEntire and Sara Rue), Nashville, 666 Park Ave., How To Live With Your Parents For The Rest Of Your Life, Last Resort, The Neighbors, Family Tools, Zero Hour, and Red Man Van.

Deadline.com thinks that both CSI: Miami and CSI: NY will return next season as will Rules of Engagement. Unforgettable's renewal chances are up slightly.

I love that we've got at least 2 more years of American Dad. I admit I watched the very first episode, and didn't like it (the only part I laughed at was Stan getting carried away while stealing the purse), so I didn't watch it for awhile. Thanks to repeats I started to enjoy it. So it's awesome to see stick around. I wonder if NBC is wishing they still had Chuck. Secret Circle fans are not happy with The CW canceling the show yesterday. Looking at the ratings, when you're losing a shitload of the audience from the lead in show, that's not good. And the lead in show is the only hit the CW has produced (Smallville, Top Model, and Supernatural all came from WB or UPN). How the f*** did Nikita stick around? I thought that was a sure bet to be gone. Please don't keep it as a lead in for Supernatural, that hurts Supernatural's ratings. Put Arrow in it's place. |
