Sine Mora is coming to PSN? Boss. That game looks good and has been getting praised for the XBLA version.

It is basically the sequel to Burnout Paradise which to me is a top 10 game this generation. So yeah, this game should be top 20 this year. Why the hate though? It's getting praise everywhere. Even though I wish we'd get a new Burnout game in general that's in line with the original trilogy instead of Paradise (Takedown is STILL my favorite racing game period), this is close enough for the time being. Criterion know how to mix simu-style cars and universe w/ arcade-style racing well. The rumor is the next game Criterion makes will be Burnout and may be Next Gen.

Ugh. Thanks for the new, enhanced, and completely unusable PSN Store guys! Sony has a habit of doing that it seems. They added the Youtube app which barely functions too, and attempting to view youtube videos without a work-around leads to page with a link to installing the app.

Weird, I've had little to no problems with the YouTube app. Couple on a blue moon with videos loading, but that's it.
The PSN Store on the other hand is complete ass.

Some good games there that never got the love they deserved.
Alice, Homefront, Red Faction, and Warhammer, all very fun but sent out to die.

I own Brotherhood already, still am not sure on if I want Revelations, I own Deus Ex, don't want Homefront, literally have everything for ME2, don't want Red Faction, already own Saints Row 2 via getting Saints Row 3, and I own Space Marine via PlayStation Plus.

I will probably never get that Red Faction game because it was the game that killed the franchise. Sorry, but I just can't bring myself to play that game. Homefront, eh maybe sometime down the road, but not right now.

And had more in common with the first two than Guerrilla did, that game was the one that was different. It also didn't sell very well and was given away with Darksiders to get it moving.

Yes, but it was people not buying that game that killed the franchise, ergo this game killed the franchise. I never said it killed the franchise by being a poor game, it is still the game that ended one of my favorite shooter franchises. And as such I won't touch it. It has that stigma attached to it, man. Don't care how fun it may be, its image is ruined to me.

You realize of course that if enough people buy it digitally, they may bring the series back? Or when THQ dies, another company may be willing to pick it up and run with it, or buy Volition and let them make one?

not buying a game because it didn't sell very well is silly. I'm not not buying because it didn't sell well. I'm not buying it because it was the game that killed the franchise. It just happens that it killed the franchise because it vastly undersold what THQ was expecting it to sell. I agree that not buying a game solely for not selling well is stupid, but my situation is different.

This game bombed so badly that it is probably considered poison by all the other publishers.

On the bright side, the first batch of Far Cry 3 reviews have come out, and they all look promising.

Hasn't just about EVERYTHING THQ has put out over the past couple of years under-performed in terms of what they wanted?
Isn't that why they are going bust?
