So, anyone here played War of the Monsters? I remember playing a demo years ago, was gonna get it off eBay, but it's on PSN apparently, so I may just get it tomorrow.

I freaking loved that game so very much. Fun, with some charm and class, and silly as all hell.

Bethesda has announced that Skyrim's DLC will FINALLY come to the PS3. All 3 pieces of DLC will drop in February. And of course you might be wondering what Bethesda's compensation for the long delay for Dawngaurd and Hearthfire are...... All 3 DLC will be 50% off for their launch week. Yep. That's it. Now I'm ok with the 50% off. My problem is the one week only part of it. That's too short. It should be for at least of couple of weeks, you know to make sure all PS3 owners of Skyrim that still want the DLC can get it for 50% off. Yeah, that's a little crappy, but meh, I shall put the money aside for them. I am so excited to get back into the game!

Just found out that it looks like the new Sly Cooper game will be released with a $40 price tag. Not just that, but with the whole "Cross Buy" thing if you have a Vita (you get a download code for the Vita version free w/ the PS3 version), that's a crazy good deal.

Have a Mass Effect 3 save file/data on your console? You get N7 armor in Dead Space 3. Looks awesome.

Shane Satterfield has left Game Trailers... Cuh Razy. Had it done it sooner maybe Sessler would have ended up there.

Also Kotaku has an article with specs and other bits on the Orbis, or at least the Orbis dev kit and considering they got their info from the guy who tried to hock Xbox 720 dev kits on eBay they are probably legit. One interesting thing is they seem to confirm that the controller WILL have touch controls, like CVG said it would, but while CVG's rumor was a front facing touch screen like the Wii U controller, Kotaku says it is actually a multitouch touchpad on the back on the controller like the touch pad on the back of the Vita. kotaku.com/5977849/the-playstation-4-has-a-new-controller-fancy-user-accounts-and-impressive-specs-so-far

Over complicating and taking people out of comfort zones with controllers is risky.
I, for one, am not looking forward to having to adapt my reflexes after over a decade and half of the same style.

I welcome our new overlord. As long as they refine and add features without jacking things up, I am all for it.
Also, I am in love with Ni No Kuni. There is a sheep enemy called "Baatender".

Of course sadly looking at the specs Kotaku lists it looks like PS3 BC is out the window, unless they can somehow do some kind of emulation set up.
