That is kinda shocking. Arkham Asylum? I could see that. Arkham City? Floored, I am.

Damn, I'd rather have Asylum. Don't own it, own City
EDIT: Damn, I own Limbo too.

A Christmas present? For me? Oh Sony, you shouldn't have!
Seriously, that saves me money. Had City for the Xbox 360, lost it when I traded my 360 and games in.

Seriously at this point, if you have a big enough hard drive, Plus is all you need.
You get all those free awesome games and discounts on other awesome games. Plus gives you enough digital value that it makes it tempting to give up buying on disc PS3 games.

Picked up Skate 3 for $3.74. Yeppers. Damn lucky! I've been looking to get it for a while, and it's always in the £20 range!

Oh Shane Satterfield can f*** right off.
On this weekend's episodes of Bonus Round and Invisible Walls, both being their respective Spike VGAs special, he bad mouthed both Journey and The Walking Dead saying that because they are cheap downloadable games that they "didn't deserve" to be nominated for the VGA GotY. His reasoning(get ready for stupidity)? There wasn't as much effort put into them as the big AAA games like ME3, AC3, Halo 4, or BlOps 2 according to him.
Never mind the fact that they did this quality work with vastly smaller teams than those AAA games. I am amazed this idiot still has a job as a game journalist.

The Walking Dead game alone tops all of the AAA games I've seen. The story, setting, characters, etc. is just head-and-shoulders the best I've seen in a long, long time, maybe ever. He can tell that crap to somebody else. Game of the Year should go to the best game, not the best AAA game. Walking Dead tops all of those. Haven't played Journey yet, but I'm willing to bet that it tops those as well. I love BLOPS II, but come on. 10 out of 10 times, I'd say Walking Dead is better in almost every way.

I always hate him this time of year, and only tolerate him the rest. I wish they'd keep him off IW and let Marcus host, who I often disagree with, but at least he isn't a whiny douchebasket. I hope Sessler gets a new podcast with REv3.

And if Walking Dead was off, Unfinished Swan should have been on.

Haven't played Journey yet, but I'm willing to bet that it tops those as well. I love BLOPS II, but come on. 10 out of 10 times, I'd say Walking Dead is better in almost every way. He especially hates that The Walking Dead was nominated because he flat out hates the game. Why? Well not because of the voice acting or writing, he actually liked those, it is because to him he finds it hard to call The Walking Dead a game. Of course Marcus was quick to point out that it is an old school point-and-click game from the halcyon days of PC gaming greatness. Another annoying thing he's doing is spouting off how ME3 is the highest aggregate scored game of the year. It isn't. It is beat out by at least Persona 4 Golden and Journey. So let's update the reasons why Shane Satterfield is an incompetent f***wad who shouldn't be the editor-in-chief of a game site as big as GameTrailers(it is, after all, the only gaming site now with a major TV network connection(as G4 is getting massively changed)): - He values amount of content over quality of content(case in point these are the main reasons GameTrailers named MW2 GotY for 2009 and Uncharted 3 GotY for 2011 despite there being more quality games than them in their years). - He's a hypocrite, claiming to value originality above all else thus limiting the review scores some games get(the infamous 9.3 for Uncharted 2 despite a review that makes it sound like it would get a higher score), yet the highest scored games from GameTrailers, as in the games with a 9.5 score or higher are all unoriginal, if not stagnant, sequels. - He thinks that downloadable games shouldn't be named GotY nominees over AAA games, even if said downloadable games are better than the AAA games. Then again, I think it is quite obvious Shane is a tried and true Call of Duty fanboy. Year in and year out the latest Call of Duty game is one of the nominees for GT's platform specific awards and GotY, even in the year's when they are subpar games(2009 and 2011 with the MW sequels). As abrasive as Marcus can be, at least he hasn't done something to make me think he's a hypocrite or do anything that Shane does. Marcus should be the one running GameTrailers, imo.

^ That's the second time recently the US has received a "lesser" game for free than the UK. The first time was in September where the UK got Red Dead Redemption and the US got Borderlands. Make no mistake, Borderlands is a damn good game, just not as good as RDR. Also, here's something I think all of y'all will like. My interview with Winifred Phillips, a video game composer who has wrote songs for little known games such as God of War, LittleBigPlanet 2, and Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. www.freakinawesomenetwork.net/2012/12/a-symphony-of-death-interview-with-winifred-phillips/

I'll believe it when I see it. Until I see Dragonborn listed in the PSN Store, I won't believe Bethesda.

I love RDR but much prefer Borderlands. Story wasn't as good, but the gameplay was better.

Started playing L.A Noire over the past couple of days. I'd heard about the ground-breaking technology being used but f*** me I was still blown away, sometimes really does feel like it's a movie at times
Took me a few interrogations to really feel comfortable (even if I get a few wrong) in the interrogations. I did alright in the traffic desk but a couple of times there was defo a leap of faith in getting some of the answers. Enjoying it so far

Since I'm currently playing the first Bioshock, I would've preferred Bioshock 2 xD
