Apparently the Killzone HD remake is all kinds of awful. I really hope not.
Cannot wait to play Unfinished Swan, right up my alley.
Koda, did you play Papo & Yo?

Found a MUCH better talking gun in Borderlands 2.
Go to Tannis and unlock the "Splinter Group" side mission. During that, you'll see 3 psychos beating up on a Loader. Destroy the psychos and take the Loader's AI Core.
That's all I'll say about the mission. The rest is pretty hilarious.

I have a shotgun that when you reload it you throw it and it flies around homing in on enemies until it explodes. During flight it continues to shoot at the enemy it is chasing, even having dogfights with surveyors. It is freaking amazing.

One of the first shotguns I had in my new playthrough (now playing as a Siren) was a purple shotgun that did like 300+ damage, was elemental to fire and could be thrown as a grenade when reloading it. I didn't know there was a homing ability. Guess that's a skill point or something?
This playthrough has been more of a shotgun, close range type of game for me. Think I got like 4 shotguns in my backpack.
-Shotgun 1340, the "talking" shotgun from the Loader side mission that talks. -One I got from finding Michael Mamaril (FINALLY!) -The Roksalt from doing the "Splinter Group" side mission. -Miss Moxxi's Heartbreaker

Not a skill point, it is just that gun.

Not only is that the gun, that is my class and the exact way I am progressing him. It is also the place I first tried out my gunny gun. Weird.

What the hell are they building up to? It better not just be some elaborate PSASBR trailer/ad. If it is, I'll be pissed.

I keep getting ass-raped in Borderlands 2. It's probably my fault for picking the Assassin, kinda like like in the first one.. if you're going to solo it, you can't be anybody but a gunner or someone who's hopelessly overpowered.
Gonna retry the game with the Gunzerker, should be a lot more manageable.

Must just have to spend a few hours grinding before doing any more missions then.

Nah, I don't have any of the DLC yet, probably won't for quite a while unfortunately.

From most of the folks I talk to Assassin is better for solo and Gunzerker is mostly awful all around. Seriously? Damn.... Must just have to spend a few hours grinding before doing any more missions then. Also note, you can use any gun you want. You're not just relegated to using a sniper rifle or whatever. But yeah, HUGE protip. Just going through the campaign won't cut it. You NEED to do side missions. Another piece of advice is, do multiple side missions if they take place in the same region you're in. Like Scooter's side stuff in The Fridge. Plus do stuff that offers you weapons. Case and point, Marcus's "Safe and Sound" side mission. In the end, you'll be offered to take it to Marcus OR Moxxi (the reason why is pretty great), but take it to Moxxi. You'll get her Heartbreaker shotgun, which is one of the best shotguns in the game. Also, if you do missions that involve a choice between a gun or a shield, ALWAYS take the gun. You'll find much better shields later on. And finally, for those saying that the Gunzerker is awful, it's really not. It's mostly for first-time Borderlands players though, like myself. I used him for my first playthrough and I had a good time with it, although I'm having more fun in my second playthrough as the Siren. Phaselock w/ Heilos is BEAST.

I always do side-quests, I just suck at life.... and in this instance life=video games. lol
Finally managed to kill Dr. Mercy by luring him outside and running him over with the buggy repeatedly. I'll cheat the f*** out of this game as it's the only chance I seem to stand lol

Some of you guys might remember that last year I wore an original take on Scarecrow for Halloween based on equal parts his Batman Begins design and his Arkham Asylum design. This year I'll be rolling out yet another video game based costume for Halloween. Connor from AC3. Hell I even plan on wearing the outfit to the midnight launch of AC3. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) The only problem I'm having with my Connor costume is finding his tomahawk(because I sure as hell can't build it). I mean I tried eBay, but all of the listings there are for either an actual f***ing tomahawk(as it steel axehead and everything), or a lame ass inflatable thing. There is only one listing for a Connor tomahawk that isn't inflatable or a real weapon and its estimated shipping timeline is in the middle of November. It is a good thing in my infinite geekness I already own some prop flintlock pistols, then, huh?
