Well that actually wasnt too bad! Not sure how it was at other Walmarts, but the 8 pm and 10 pm plans seemed to really make things run quite smoothly at my store. Crowded as Hell though.
Also got Brave, Taken, X-Men Wolverine Origins, X-Men First Class, and Green Lantern on Blu-Ray for around $35 total, so can't really complain about tonight.

For anyone getting WWE 13 at 12:10PST tomorrow. And for most popular Amazon deals...be there right when it goes on sale. I've been studying most of the games, and they've usually been gone within a minute. So plan accordingly if you're trying to stay warm like me.

Sounds like I dodged a bullet by scoring a PS3 on Amazon thus not having to brave the Wally World crowds.

At our Walmart, they put the DVDs among the clothes, terrible floor planning, a bunch of stuff was already gone because people were reaching in the plastic and grabbing prematurely.
HOWEVER, Moviestop was fairly mellow, they had all three seasons of Community for $12.99 each.
Picked up season 2, along with Magic Mike for $10 for Mom, Rock of Ages and Hunger Games.
And as before, if anyone has an Ultraviolet code they don't want, let me know.
I'm already giving my Magic Mike one to someone else.

Went by Wal-Mart a hour ago. Total ghost town. Every one came and went last night I guess. Electronics section looked like a tornado went through it. Figured nothing would be left. Got a lot of jeans though, so that was worth it. Got a nice TV stand set up for 79.99.
I did 95% of my shopping on Amazon yesterday anyway. So this was a successful past two days.

The Walmart I went to was a nightmare. They put the games and movies over in produce along with the power wheels, bikes, air hockey tables, and basketball hoops. Also the line for the 60" Vizio was in the same area. Needless to I was in the wrong line until 8. I did however manage to pick up WWE 13 (the last copy) , Max Payne 3, Dead Island and Red Dead Redemption: GOTY. The only one I didn't get that i really wanted was NBA 2K13.
I managed to be one of the people that got New Super Mario Bros. U for free at Old Navy. Also somehow I ended up with 3 codes to try and win a WII U. If I dont win a Wii U I suppose I'll just trade the game in, or sell it.
Snagged the LG Optimus Elite at Best Buy for $49,for an Aunt that wants to use it as an MP3 player. Also got a couple pairs of Skull Candy earbuds for mom. Also picked up the $29 Net10 Android phone from Target for my grandmother.
Last but not least went over to Half Price Books to get the free gift card. Unfortunately it was one of the $5 ones and not the $100 one. But hey 5 bucks is5 bucks.
All in all not a bad night.

Alrighty, so in my Best Buy cart, I've got 6 seasons of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Yes Man, and Benjamin Button all for $48. I am definitely getting the last 2 movies but is that show worth buying? I've seen some episodes on tv here and there but not sure if it's worth buying them all. Keep in mind I also have $10 in gift cert. to make the total $38. So FAN, what would do you recommend?

Didn't even bother with Walmart, despite what I said earlier in the thread. Reason being I spent my Black Friday spending money on a bunch of discounted games on PSN a few days ago.
I instead went to GameStop and traded in Assassin's Creed III and Modern Warfare 3(Wii version) for the extra trade in credit, bought Dead or Alive 5 for $30, and got Rainbow Six: Vegas, Duke Nukem Forever, and Prince of Persia 2008 with the buy 2 get 1 free used games.

As one of the Non-US 'Crappers, these Black Friday horror stories are something of a morbid curiosity for me.

Just decided to check Wal-Mart's site for the hell of it and two stores here in town still had $25 copies of Madden and NCAA 13. Ordered them and picking them up tomorrow. If you missed out earlier, go and try now.

I just came off a 10 hour shift, from 4am to 2pm, from Toys R Us, and let me say... Customers suuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Please do expand on that, after you've scrapped your will to live back together. As one of the Non-US 'Crappers, these Black Friday horror stories are something of a morbid curiosity for me. It's like being in a swarm. On the sales floor, it's just wave after wave of people just gathering around, trying to get me to show them all the sales and items they're trying to pick out. I don't have an issue of showing someone around, but when I also have 3-4 people trying to grill me about other things while at the same time I'm helping someone, it's disrespectful of both the person I'm helping and myself. It didn't help that the store made the walkways shorter by adding toys and stuff in the middle of them so everyone had to walk behind each other one at a time in every aisle, meaning everyone is kind of getting herded together in sections, making it harder when I need to go to the back and get items to the floor or am trying to restock shelves. It can make someone agoraphobic. Also, when I do cashier work, most people always seem to get in my face when the price of an item is not what gets ringed up.Since the system the store uses adds in discounts and sales at the end, people always lean over my shoulder when I'm scanning, see the original price, and freak out. And the thing is, nearly every single person I ring up does the exact same thing. Sometimes even more than once during the same checkout, which blows my mind. The thing is, one on one, most of these people would be perfectly fine to deal with and I'd enjoy helping them, but in a mass group, it just completely riles them up and it goes nuts. Not to mention the bad customers, those who will curse you our if you don't help them fast enough or have gotten a run around from other staff and decide to take it out on you. That would suck on non-season times. It's just the season that does it, I guess.

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 with a 7 inch screen and 8gb storage for $150, how bad did I get hosed? My only regret is that is doesn't have a video out, but I might get a Vita over a 3DsXl in the future since all I really wanted was a portable Netflix player.
