Speaking of Band of Brothers: Heck of a mood whiplash from Ross Gellar, innit? As for Jason Segel, he actually got his start on Freaks and Geeks, along with Velma (Linda Cardellini), Harry Osborn (James Franco), and Officer Michaels (Seth Rogen). The latter two would go on to star in Pineapple Express. Also in that clip, you can see Damian Lewis (Sgt. Brody from Homeland) standing amongst the soldiers. Damian Lewis was basically THE star of Band of Brothers, though. I guess it's a mindscrew for people who didn't watch BoB when it first aired (or ever?), but for those who did, our reaction to the Emmys from this year was "Dude, it's Winters from Band of Brothers!!"

Jake Goldsbie (Toby from Degrassi) played in Jacob Two-Two as the titular character, opposite everyone's favorite resident crazy person, Gary Busey, who played the Hooded Fang. Also, Hugh Laurie and Mark Williams were in 101 Dalmations prior to making it big* as Dr. House and Arthur Weasley respectively.
*In America, obviously. Hugh was a big name in England long before House through Blackadder.

Remember that scene in Austin Powers: Goldmember when the Japanese are running from a giant lizard that's totally not Godzilla? The one guy who points that out? It's the guy who played Hiro from Heroes.

Older and more of a "Why isn't he in more stuff?" thing, but Ryan styles is in Both "Hot Shots" movies He was in both? I barely remember them anymore but I thought he was just in one of them.... Huh. Rented them both along with a buttload of other movies for the week. He's Mailman in the First one, and Rabinowitz in the second one. And when going over the cast.....Two and a Half men is like a Hot Shots Reunion show.....

Ron Perlman was in a Police Academy movie.
Cuba Gooding Jr. and Samuel L Jackson are in Coming to America.
Johnny Depp is in Platoon, if you look hard enough.
Gerard Butler is in Phantom of the Opera. As is Patrick Wilson (guy who played Nite Owl II in Watchmen).

I'm watching THE MIST right now on SyFy, and was reminded that Carol from THE WALKING DEAD is the mom who wandered off into the mist early And Andrea. And Dale. And that latino guy that was in Season 1. Considering Darabont directed The Mist, it's not that surprising. For me, this is still one of the most mind-blowing things ever. ![](http://foxallaccess.blogs.fox.com/files/2011/01/136.jpg) Nic Cage in Fast Times At Ridgemont High.

Was taken aback a few weeks ago while re-watching Cloverfield that Theo "Juice" Rossi is at the party at the beginning of the movie. I completely forgot that comedian TJ Miller played the annoying Hud in that movie either until his Nerdist interview. Also, Ron Perlman was indeed the narrator at the beginning of 3 and New Vegas.

Another "Austin Powers in Goldmember" reference. I remember watching G4 and there was this thing that said "Diane Mizota (one of the Fook twins) on there" and that was then I realized that she was one of the twins. I used to watch "Filter" all the time I did not realize that was her. Same with Carrie Ann Inaba being the other one.
