Knicks stay undefeated at home, and now the Lakers are 1-11 this season when Kobe scores 30+ in a game.

This game shows you why Carmello is the MVP. If Melo doesn't get hurt, this game is a blow out from beginning to end.
Give Kobe credit for making it a game, but the biggest reason for that is Dwight Howard. Nice job Howard playing dirty and getting Carmello out of the game.
Good news the Knicks play the Cavs next, maybe they can beat them without Melo. Maybe even the Rockets.

I'm actually nervous about the Cavs game. It seems that, even without LeBron, the Cavs have the Knicks number.

So, what teams have the best shot at handing NYK their first home loss?

So, what teams have the best shot at handing NYK their first home loss? Well if Melo doesn't play how about the Cavs. The Knicks have a 6 game home stand, so they probably slip up in one of those games. It better not be against the Nets. What I want is for the Knicks to win at least 35 games at home. 35-6, that is not asking too much.

Good win despite everything. Knicks couldn't seem to hit a jumper late and Chandler was doing his best Dwight Howard impression from the free throw line. Howard actually hitting free throws didn't help our cause, but it backs up my thought that when the game seems out of reach, Howard can hit free throws but when there's pressure on him in close games, he'll miss.

Okay Lakers, this will be an utter disgrace of a start of a season if you dare lose to the Washington Wizards.
And yes I will probably laugh; even the 2004-05 Lakers had a bettter season start.

Wizards may as well just start wearing the Generals uniforms and going by that name.

A missed free throw and the Knicks escape with the 1 point win.
Granted that looked like an offensive foul to me. Shouldn't have gotten to the line in the first place.

The Knicks survive, a win is a win, the Knicks no thanks to Smith and Novak, those guys should run 10 laps tomorow for almost costing us the games with their chock jobs a free throw shooting. One thing if it is Chandler who does that, but I expect better from them.
