Lob City is the better LA basketball hoops team right now. I know, I know- team history, titles, tradition, yadda yadda yadda. But since the 2012-13 NBA season has started, the Clippers have been definitively better on the court than the Lakers. The Clippers: have no issue with PG (they have a healthy CP3), depth, shooters, youth, etc. Oh, and with the Spurs, Heat, and Knicks are atop the NBA standings- I'd say if we were in 2000, but I can't because: 1. The Attitude Era was going on then 2. The Clippers are actually looking like a functional basketball team.

Oh, and a sad irony about D'Antoni to the Lakers- when we thought Del Negro was in danger of losing his job, how many of us thought he would have been a candidate for Lob City?
Go figure- now he actually is the best basketball coach in the state of California.

Right now? Sure.
Of all time or even the last 20 years? Don't make me laugh.

Right now? Sure. Of all time or even the last 20 years? Don't make me laugh. I meant right now, as in the best coach in the state of California at this moment, since the season started, etc. Right now, the media has been so obsessed with killing what Mike Brown didn't do right for the Lakers, they compleely forgot about what Del Negro's doing so far with the Clippers- not a bad job.

Wow, what the hell is up with the refs and commentators in this Memphis/OKC game?
With the Grizzlies up by ten, it's just foul-after-technical foul called on Gasol, Z-Bo and Allen. Not to mention Doris Burke just burying the Memphis players and praising Westbrook's poor shooting night and Kevin Martin's free throw percentage.
I realize this is ESPN, but you would think there would be LESS bias on commentary.

If your point guard sucks you really have no excuse not to be calling the Clippers about Eric Bledsoe. For any number of reasons.

You know, as much as I love this being the Knicks' best start since Ewing, Starks, and co. were on the team and actually a force to be reckoned with in the NBA, I think the undefeated streak ends tomorrow. San Antonio is hard as hell to beat at home, even with Duncan not being the player he once was. If they actually manage to win, none will be shocked more than me.

I was at the OKC/Memphis game. You can't win if you're going to turn it over 15 times, that was atrocious.
The officiating at the end was weird. I still don't know what the offensive foul on Gay was about, or the technical fouls at the end.

Not only is he beasting off of the bench right now, but he's also a great backup plan if Paul decides to leave town after this year for whatever reason. Plus, Paul has an injury history. I don't think they can really risk moving him unless someone overpays like CRAZY.

I still don't know what the offensive foul on Gay was about, or the technical fouls at the end. The sad thing is I think those 15 turnovers are among the fewest the Thunder have had in a game this season so far. They've usually had closer to 20 or so a game this year. It is god awful and I can't tell what is causing all their turnovers.....

That said, they've always been turnover heavy, it's the fault of such a young team.

Really looking forward to Spurs/Knicks. I think the Knicks will stay undefeated though. And yet TNT passed this up for Boston/Brooklyn.
