I don't think it's even certain that Manziel gets an invite to to the ceremony. If he wins the thing, I'll be gobsmacked (I've always wanted to use that word...) He has to get a invite

Crazy week. Looks like the SEC has found a way back in the BCS Championship game.

Meanwhile, Ohio State sits around with angry scrunchy faces. Last year it was USC, this year it's Ohio State. Granted USC wouldn't have made the National Championship Game, but they were a top 5-6 team.

I can live with Georgia winning the title- like Auburn years ago, they're excitng, have terrific offensive weapons, and you can play the 'They're due' card. Last title- 1980.
But Bama? No. Only they can end up losing at home in November yet end up feeling like a million bucks going forward.
Every college fan outside the south may have just died a little inside.

I do think it's hilarious and sooooo NCAA that Cam Netwon? Pfft, go on and play. Nothing to see here. That mountain of evidence? Just ignore that.
Ohio State? You dared lie to us?! TATTOOS?! EGREGIOUS! FAIL, YOU'RE OUT.
So NCAA.

@ericsan According to BCS guru Brad Edwards, he predicts #BCS top four will be 1. ND, 2. Alabama, 3. Georgia, 4. Florida. 3 of the top 4 from #SEC.

Bryant, Dez), they make an example of you if you lie to them.

Only way to stop that is for the teams above Alabama to win but they haven't been doing that lately. It's not their fault, it's everyone else's fault who's above them for not taking care of business. On another note, I can do without ever seeing the "HELLO!" commercial ever again.

Or just you, since you seem to be the only one this upset about it. They lost to a ranked team, fell a few spots, and have benefited from the teams who were supposed to be better than them losing to worse teams than Texas A&M. Were they supposed to be ignored completely after losing, just to keep them out of the championship?

Yeah, I don't have a problem with the SEC winning it, since they have always had a team deserving.
I had a problem with Bama going to the game last year despite a much weaker SoS due to SEC coaches weighing the vote, but as far as the SEC winning the NC, this is sports, if you don't want a team to win, you have to beat them.

IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR?!

How can you be fatigued by teams being good? It's not the SEC's fault that no other conference has stepped up.

How can you be fatigued by teams being good? It's not the SEC's fault that no other conference has stepped up. Remember that stretch from the mid-80s to the late-90s when the NFC was invincible in the Super Bowls and non-NFC fans were tired of the same old, same old.

If they would have come forward at first and laid it all out there they would have been fine I feel. But the way the NCAA does it is ridiculous. Even if you lied about it, the punishment should be worse than the original penalty of the infraction. The way they do it it'd be like if a shoplifter lied about stealing a watch, so got booked for grand theft auto instead.
