It's so, SO annoying. The TV rating has absolutely nothing to do with the mediocre product. All these fools talking about how great the TV 14 era was, are probably the same people who in 2007 (under a TV-14 rating), were talking about how horrible the then current product was, and how great the Attitude Era was. Because the only thing that makes a mediocre (for the most part) is the booking. Not the rating, blood, what the women are wearing, or the language.
BTW:
TV-PG. Right there in the top left corner. Great show/angle/promo, too...

I find PG/universe apologist far, far more annoying than people that rant about the PG era. I'm tired of the assumptions. I'm tired of the aversion to listening that many of the PGAs have. I'm tired of how ratchet PGAs are allowed to act. A poster said that some people go out of their way to be annoyed with people that rant about the PG era and that poster is right on the money.

Some people just can't accept change. I guess it makes them feel better when they're ripping on the current product. I just made a post about how the current era is stale. How it's status quo and how the same guys have been on top for ten years. Yes, we can't handle all these changes. Well sorry if i didn't read your post but anyway.... I was referring to people who stopped watching WWE because it turned PG or stopped watching after the attitude era. WWE will continue to be stale because they have no competition.

I had a theory a while back that I feel that I am right about. Many people who bash PG and long for the "good old days" wear these: I have read people praising the days of 2003 and 2007 as if they were good times. Raw during 2003 left a lot to be desired whereas Smackdown was a lot better. Hell, during 2003-2004, there was not a lot that was worth watching. Even 2007 didn't have a lot of good stuff. When those times were current, and mark my words on this one, they were bashing it. I guarantee it. When it 2003, they were probably bashing the product. Now they look back it fondly.

It's funny how teens think adults only like stuff that's bloody or has swears or shows tits. It's not funny when grown adults think that adults only like the aforementioned criteria. That's my main problem with the vocal PG IS GAY crowd - a lack of evolving mentally past a certain age, which is ironic considering their qualms.

At 25 I have been a fan of all eras during my life. I can say now that I am glad I can watch wrestling with my daughter without the graphic stuff. I particularity don't miss "show us your tits" chants.
