Out of all the years you've watched WWF/WWE what are your favorite reigns?
Here's some of mine
Shawn Michaels '96 - This is when I first started watching and I liked how Michaels defended the title repeatedly. I remember watching him defend it against Goldust of all people on a special once, I was surprised. He always did well and faced whoever, didn't matter who and he had some nice defenses them. Sure he always won but it was good.
Undertaker 09' - The last outlaw undead cowboy Taker holding the belt was just amazing, it fit. Just look at the video he had calling out Batista with the steel cage. I mean it fits with him. Perfect.
Edge (Rated R/Master Manipulator/Master of the TLC) - I'm not going to divide which reign I liked most but Edge's reigns were great. You saw him through his whole career move up from the guy coming through the audience, to the Brood member, to the tag team specialist, to IC champ Edge then the main champ. He's earned it, always flowed well with whatever gimmick he had, he felt like a champion and I loved when he held the belts.
Stone Cold 98' - Austin holding the belt then just felt natural, it felt right and his reigns were great (even though they were broken up still it was a great year). Always liked it.
What are yours?

Uh, that video needs to be removed. WWE footage has to be from their YT account.
For me:
HBK in 96 Taker in 99 HHH in his reign of terror and maybe Trish's reign of terror

No denying Michaels' had a great run with the belt in '96..my only complaint was his character. He didn't need Lothario following him around wherever he went, it just looked silly. Every match he had though was solid.
Angle's first run with the belt was fun. I don't want to go so far as to say he wasn't the focus of the show, but it was fun how he kept squeaking out wins against Triple H and Austin, and his match with Undertaker was all sorts of fun with the switcharoo.
John Cena's 3rd title reign in 2007. I'll admit, I hated his first and second reign, simply because they used a lot of established talent such as Jericho, Angle and Triple H to get him over when he wasn't ready to be "the man". His reign in 2007 was different though, he worked with a lot of different newer guys and has exciting matches with Umaga, Khali and even Orton. I even pulled for him to break the record with the belt for holding it over a year. The only downside was him f***ing vacating it! He should've dropped it in a quick squash match to Orton.

Edge's first WWE title reign in '06. Although short, more happened in those 3 weeks, then the previous 10 months that Cena held the title. It also proved Edge could be a believable World Champion.

I loved JBL's world title reign. He was a cowardly champion who kept his title through nefarious means and by the skin of his teeth until finally being outmatched by the WWE's new megastar, John Cena, on the grandest stage of them all. In my mind JBL is the best heel and one of the best WWE champions of the 2000 - 2010 era.

He really set up Cena well too before he left. Not only did they have the WM match we can't forget that amazing match they had at Judgement Day, the I Quit match.

I liked HHH Jan 2000 through April. He was a real heel getting legit heat in a "cool heel" era. I don't think The Rock would've been as big of a star as he was without HHH to chase for the title.

Big Show with the ECW title. I swear he must've been busted open every week.

Recently, I loved Kane's World Title reign (up until the feud with Edge) and Mark Henry's world title reign.
Cody's IC run has been great so far too.

I agree with Shawn's 1996 reign as he put on some of his best matches ever during that time period.
But I'll throw out a more recent one and say Christian's reign(s) as ECW champion. He had the 'fighting champion' mentality where he took on everybody and the quality of the matches made it seem like anyone could dethrone him for the title at any given show (house, TV, pay per view). That run is what solidified me as a "peep" and as a die-hard fan of WWECW.

Cena's 2007 reign. Probably the best run of his career. Awesome matches with Umaga, Shawn (twice), Lashley, and he even dragged a respectable match out of Kahli.
JBL's 2004-05 run. Most people at the time didnt appreciate just how awesome a job he did. He was a classic 80's Flair-esque champion who *somehow* kept escaping with the title.
Cody's current IC run has been good.
Old school: Bret Harts first WWF title reign. He defemded the title almost weekly, against pretty much anyone you could think of

This. Triple H was the f***ing man around that period, he had the look, the theme, great matches with Rock and Foley especially, as well as being a complete piece of shit. His whole 00-01 persona is one of my favourite heel characters in wrestling. In fact, that run is why I can't completely hate the Helmsley like some fans do.

Cena's 2007 reign: good matches with HBK & Umaga
Lesnar: all of them were really good
Razor Ramon's first I-C run '03-04: back before claiming to be a Scott Hall fan got you more than blank stares
Miz/Morrison: its a shame their Wrestlemania match against Primo and Carlito got cut to the preshow
Christian's ECW title reign: good matches with early broski gimmick Zack Ryder and William Regal's stable
Bret Hart's 2nd I-C title reign in '92: won against Piper in an awesome Wrestlemania match, lost to Davey in an even better Summerslam match
The Rock's 2nd I-C title reign in late '97 - '98: started reign as Rocky Maivia, ended as future main eventer, The Rock
Mark Henry's World title run this year was very good

Chavo as ECW champion. He was put over by people, had some great matches... shame how it ended.
Oh, Mark Henry's world title reign, recent but amazing.
