It would be spread over four discs (I won't count Benoit/HHH). Each disc would include a 10 minute documentary style package featuring interviews with those who participated in the match. Of course, next would be the match itself. Additional content would be promos, other short matches, and segments from the buildup and fallout of the match.
Thoughts?

Most boring DVD set of all time, most likely. Iron Man matches tend to be a bit hard to sit through, especially more than once.

Good God no, the only more boring thing would be a Last Man Standing DVD.

Nah, I'd skip this one. I already own the Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels Iron Man match 3 times.
It's the only one I've ever really liked.

What about Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels? Though that one is on the Best of Raw DVD set.

I don't think that there have been a lot of Iron Man matches to warrant a DVD release. All I can think of are the following: 1. Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels, Wrestlemania XII 2. Triple H vs. The Rock, Judgment Day 2000 3. Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle, Smackdown in 2003 4. Triple H vs. Chris Benoit, Raw in 2004 5. Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle, Raw Homecoming in 2005 6. John Cena vs. Randy Orton, Bragging Rights 2009
It's likely number 4 won't make the cut. Also, don't you think there will be 2 matches per disc?

Wasn't that HBK/Cena match in London a few years back an Iron Man or did it just happen to go 60 minutes? Either way, it was a tremendous match.

...wait, what? There was an Angle/Michaels Iron Man match? Man, that's what I get for taking that sabbatical for most of 2005...

I was there for the Orton/Cena one at Bragging Rights. I was dreading it, but I think that it being no countout/no DQ made it better. Table spots, Orton trying to kill Cena with pyro, etc. It turned out way better than probably we all thought it would be.

I'd be tempted, although I am always bored by Bret vs Shawn whenever I see it

Not a chance in hell.
There's only been four iron man matches in history. HBK/Hitman was driven into the ground, Rock/HHH needs love, Angle/Lesnar was just released on the 21st Century Superstar DVD, and for obvious reasons the HHH/Benoit match will never see the light of day.
Essentially what I'm getting is that it'd be like a "From the Vault" setup but only with iron man matches. That I would dig, but just not the main content.

They could throw in Steamboat/Rude from 1993/1994 for good measure, even if it was only 30 minutes.

Bret Hart fought Owen Hart in a 60-Minute Marathon Match in June of 1994 at a Nassau Coliseum house show. It was promoted as a Marathon Match though rather than an Iron Man Match if that matters. Bret won in overtime.
