Don't think I have seen this thread before, so...
As we all know, a good post match, backstage, or interview inturrupting beatdown can draw good heat for heels and make the babyface sympathetic.
What is your favorite beatdown of all time? Also, what do you consider the most brutal beatdown ever?
For me, my favorite is the Horsemen breaking Dusty Rhode's arm in the parking lot.
Most brutal?
Either HHH on Flair when Flair was IC champ, when the Christian Coalition near murdered Abyss, or Manny Fernandez on Invader III, though that was during a match, so I am not sure if it counts as a "beatdown".
What say you, FAN?

Recently I loved the Aces and Eights, more specifically DOC, beating the bejesus out of Sting on Impact.

Two "favourites" of mine:
Nailz wailing on the Big Boss Man. I knew wrestling was 'fake' at this point, but I thought this was legit. Strange.
Stone Cold teaches Michael Cole a lesson. Just seek it up on Youtube if you hate Cole.

Gotta go with either the Lita beatdown or the AOTF debut. Both had that "HOLY s***" value that very few beatdowns manage to encapsulate.

Bobby Heenan, Magnificent Muraco & King Kong Bundy attacking Hulk Hogan on SNME was a pretty brutal one for its time. Bundy squashing Hogan twice in the corner, then the big splash. Hogan's injured ribs, "Can he ever be the same?!"
That stands out when I was still a young impressionable fan.
(Another Heenan one: Ken Patera & John Studd beating down Andre the Giant into unconsciousness. Patera locking on a full nelson while Studd cuts Andre's "mane". I still hate Ken Patera to this day because of that.)

Back in 98 or so, Windham and Flair were teaming up or something, and then Barry turned on Ric.
The following week, Flair ran in on a match Windham was having and just whooped, stomped and chopped the sh*t out of him for 10 minutes on live television.
It takes a lot to outdo the long drawn-out fun of that one...

Original Nexus debut. A group of brand new "rookies' showing up and laying waste to the face of the WWE and another really popular wrestler(even if he was heel at the time) and destroying the ringside area, Cole fleeing, King laid out, etc. It is such a waste in retrospect, it could have been so much more than it ended up being.
