I always loved the original Pillmanizing, especially Gerald Brisco being sent flying by Austin after he tried to break it up.

I liked the one on that Raw in 2002 where HBK beat the crap out of HHH in the parking lot.

Triple H was such a great sadistic heel. Whether it was with Evolution (on Goldberg at Summerslam 2003 and Randy Orton the night after Summerslam the following year), with Austin (their already mentioned attack on Lita) or by himself (on Ric Flair at Raw Homecoming, on Shawn Michaels after their Summerslam match, on Eugene after befriending him, on Austin in early 2001), he always delivered great heel beatdowns.

The most brutal (but abhorrent for a supposedly worked shoot) beatdown I have seen was the 'Mike Levy Incident' from IWA-MS. There are good beatdowns, and then there are ones like this, which make it more difficult to admit that you enjoy wrestling to people who are not fans of wrestling.

It was more of a back and forth fight than a beatdown, really, but when Mick Foley returned at the 2004 Royal Rumble, Randy Orton gave him what must be the two most brutal chair shots I've ever seen.

Undertaker destroying David Flair, felt very real.
Or Razor Ramon beating the hell out of the Rocket Owen Hart in the locker room.

I think JBL bloodying Chris Jericho and dragging him around the arena with a rope around his neck deserves mentioning.

Not really a beatdown, but Psycho Sid Justice beating up a scrub wrestler to the point he needed to be carted out on a stretcher.
Then, Sid tracked them down and chased away the paramedics. He showed the camera the necklace they put on the guy "Call 911" and pushed him down the aisle into the ringpost. Guy went flailing off the stretcher to the floor.
I don't care what anybody says, that was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I still laugh at that moment when watching WM VIII.

I wanted him to beat Hogan at Wrestlemania 8, and was disappointed when he abruptly disappeared from major promotions like the WWF and WCW immediately following the event. According to my old Apter mags, Sid wrestled in the USWA after leaving the WWF.

Nobody has said the Rock/Mankind I Quit Match?
In retrospect, I'm amazed Mick didn't die that night.

The Power Trip's beatdown of Lita still gives me the creeps.
But I absolutely loved watching Austin beat the shit out of Rikishi at No Mercy.

Two Man Power Trip beating down Team XTreme
I'm also surprised that the beatdown of Dusty Rhodes by the Road Warriors wasn't mentioned. They beat him down in the ring and then stabbed him in the eye with one of the spikes from their shoulder pads. Now thats brutal.

Most brutal? The Two Man Power Trip destroying Lita That's my pick too. Just an absolutely vicious beatdown. It made me legit uncomfortable watching that. Lita took that beating like a pro

Show swinging Mysterio like a baseball bat into the ring post while he was tied to stretcher and just dropping him face first afterwards get an honourable mention.

The Rock. Mankind. I Quit.
When I was a kid, I couldn't sleep after watching that PPV. I just kept imagining myself handcuffed, getting leveled by chairshots over and over again.
