I despise Cowboy Fans. I'm trying to have a rational conversation on FB about whether or not Dez Bryant should be the best receiver in the league and some one just called me a troll for having him 10th.

10th is probably too kind. But then I despise Dez Bryant.

Colts RT Winston Justice sustained a concussion during the fourth quarter of Sunday's Week 13 win over the Lions.

Chiefs still hold the #1 pick right now.

You know, thinking about that abortion of a game that was Jets-Cardinals earlier today, I think Ryan Lindley might be the worst quarterback I've ever seen play in the NFL. Even Curtis Painter was able to get a touchdown every now and then.

10th is probably too kind. But then I despise Dez Bryant. Looked at it fairly the 9 I have in front of him were in no order; Megatron, AJ Green, Roddy White, Brandon Marshall, Reggie Wayne, Wes Welker, Andre Johnson, Demaryius Thomas, and Vincent Jackson. Probably missing Larry Fitz as well if I'm honest.

All I'll say is I'm glad we went with Demaryius Thomas over Dez Bryant. Some Bronco fans outright HATED the decision and said that we'd rue the day - overall, I'd say we definitely won there.

Wonder if any media person uses this statement around the SF QB situation, "At least Smith didn't lose to the Rams."

With their losses yesterday, Jacksonville and Oakland become the 2nd and 3rd teams to be mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.
Somehow the Eagles and Panthers still aren't.

Did the whole safety thing start because Bill Polian was complaining that, in his eyes, the Patriots beat up the Colts receivers in the 2003 AFC Championship, and the following season, using his clout in the Competition Committee, he was able to get the league to strictly enforce the holding and pass interference rules? And then, over time, we have the following rules to protect the offensive players, esp, the QB: - The Roy Williams Rule in 2005
- The Carson Palmer Rule in 2006
- The Brady Amendment to the Palmer Rule in 2009
- The various "defenseless players" after that

What's funny/ironic, is I do remember the game where that Polian was complaining about and felt like the Colts got screwed on a couple plays. Not a conspiracy theory but I do remember thinking there were a few unwarranted late hits (didn't notice PI that much). The Roy Williams rule IMO had to happen. He injured like 3 or 4 people that year (including pretty much ending Tyrone Calico's career) with the horse collar tackling. The Carson Palmer rule came off an accidental hit, but it's one of those things that players hate being hit low.

Basically, yes. Polian whined until the rules were created to help the offenses. And to my original post: It isnt even that he's entirely wrong here, it's that EVERY DAMN TIME the Ravens lose a high profile game, it's the leagues fault, or the refs fault, or the other twam cheated etc. For f***s sake, the Ravens never lose like men.

*cue* Santino playing the trumpet gif. ;D Awesomesauce. And one thing no one is talking about today was the undrafted rookie who came in and played at right tackle. He was shaky at first, but down the stretch he did well enough that they can move Lang back to guard and get EDS off the line, which is such a better option.

AFC EAST CHAMPIONS IN THE LAST TEN YEARS2003: New England Patriots 2004: New England Patriots 2005: New England Patriots 2006: New England Patriots 2007: New England Patriots 2008: Miami Dolphins 2009: New England Patriots 2010: New England Patriots 2011: New England Patriots 2012: New England Patriots No, division championships don't mean squat in the grand scheme of things, but that is remarkable consistency. Even in the year they didn't win the division, the Patriots still finished 11-5. Still means nothing to me... especially 16-0 season and didn't win against New York Giants in the time frame.

Reid just announced Foles will be the starter for the rest of the season and Vick the backup. He also fired his d-line coach
