Reid just announced Foles will be the starter for the rest of the season and Vick the backup. He also fired his d-line coach The Eagles have been a dumpster fire this season. No move they make will make a damn bit of difference.

No move they make will make a damn bit of difference. Well, with Foles at the helm the rest of the way next year's coach will get a chance to evaluate him properly. Personally, I think since next year will be a rebuilding season then Foles will do fine as a starter. As for Washburn getting fired, I'm glad. Apparently this guy essentially alienated his d-line guys from the rest of the defense and verbally degraded former DC Juan Castillo all the time. According to what I've read, he became even worse after Jason Babin was released (Washburn's favorite player and close friend) and was actually "disruptive and difficult, had threatened to quit, and blew up when Babin was released." Some people are even saying that Washburn purposely kept players like Brandon Graham on the bench so that Babin could remain the starter.

ESPN Radio basically said that Washburn hadn't stopped complaining about Babin getting released and felt Babin was being used as a scapegoat. Though other reports say that Vets felt Babin wasn't setting a good example for the young players.

Gonna be an interesting game tonight. Seahawks winning kinda messed things up for the Skins since they would have been right there for the Wild Card, but they can beat the Giants tonight. They do and they are a game back from the division as well as the 2nd wild card. Living in the city, there's a buzz around town today. Not to mention it's 70 degrees outside and it's December 3.

Redskins definitely have a good shot at breaking their MNF futility streak. Giants squeaked by the 'Skins in their last meeting, and I think both teams learned something about the other. Like I expect the Giants to actually play defense against Alfred Morris this time instead of just letting him run uncontested. That said, the Skins still have to prove themselves as a team that can consistently win at home, as they're 2-3 at Landover. With the Giants' reputation as road warriors that can prove to be tough. Both teams also had pretty impressive wins last week. Hoping it's a good one. At least hoping the Giants win.

Should be a fun game tonight, I fully expect RGIII to have a spectacular MNF debut. It will be interesting to see how the Giants try to defend him because in the first game they were terrified that he would beat them to the corner and flash down the sideline and were biting hard on all of his play action, bootlegs, and fakes. Also, which Giants team will show up? The team that decimated the Packers or the team that let the Bengals bend them over the barrel a few weeks ago? Should be fun, the Skins are my team, so here's hoping that they take it.

Well I finally will be above .500 this season, crushing my opponent in fantasy this week and they are out of players and I still have Bradshaw to go tonight. There's only one week left in the regular season, but f*** it.

Wonder if any media person uses this statement around the SF QB situation, "At least Smith didn't lose to the Rams." Which would be stupid since he didn't play more than a Quarter against us 3 weeks ago.

Arizona Sports 620 reports that an undisclosed incident that occurred between Cardinals RE Darnell Dockett and FS Kerry Rhodes late in Sunday's loss to the Jets may result in disciplinary action for Dockett.
Patriots re-signed WR Donte' Stallworth.

1 second left on the clock, down by one in the Superbowl and you are on the 35 yard line. You have THREE Options and MUST pick one: A: Send Mason Crosby out to kick the Field Goal B: Send Billy Cundiff out there to kick the Field Goal C: Let Mark Sanchez throw the ball 35 yards to a wide open receiver surrounded by Mark's 1# Receiver, the Ground. (AKA, all the defenders fall down and the ball has to travel all 35 yards to the endzone without that rascally ground getting in the way)I pick D. SCOTT NORWOOD.

Before anyone complains of RGIII overkill, let me remind you: Tebow, last year.
Washington's not winning in spite of RGIII, and he actually has been productive BEFORE the 4th quarter.

I don't really think anyone's complaining about RG3 overkill. And unlike Tebow, he'd deserve it. Don't really envy the ROTY voters with their choice between Griffin and Luck.
