Terrell Suggs (torn biceps) says he's a game-time decision for Sunday, and that shutting himself down for the season is "not an option." Ray Lewis tore his triceps less than two months ago and is scheduled to return to play in a week. Terrell Suggs tore his Achilles tendon and returned less than four months later. I don't know what they put in the water down in Baltimore (Actually, I do, and it rhymes with "schmerformance-schmenhancers") but I can't imagine a torn biceps will keep Suggs out more than a week or two. I personally believe they just borrowed Adrian Peterson's Bacta Tank. It's the only logical explanation left.

Remember when the Cardinals were 4-0 and the Eagles were 3-1 on the last night of September?
Since the calendar turned to October, they have not won any games.
And BTW, I still don't know how Arizona beat the Patriots in Foxboro.

Vikings just shut down Percy Harvin for the year. Translation: The Vikings are f***ed for the rest of the season. Adrian Peterson can't do it all by himself as good as he is.

It's like the Cards lost Kevin Kolb and the offense died with him. John Skelton is having a serious sophomore slump after a surprisingly decent rookie year. And Ryan Lindley makes Blaine Gabbert look like Peyton Manning. Defense is still good, but unless there's only so much they can do when you have the most inept offense in the NFL.

It really can't be that hard to find someone that can throw the ball to Larry Fitzgerald.

I'm still bitter about that, mainly because all sorts of Cardinals fans on another forum I go to started talking crap acting like they were suddenly a better team. I kinda get a sense of schadenfreude from wathching them fail this hard.

It really can't be that hard to find someone that can throw the ball to Larry Fitzgerald. The Cardinals make it that hard. Outside of Kurt Warner, Fitzgerald hasn't had a consistently decent QB to throw him the ball. Skelton looked like he could be that last season, but he sucked this year. And Skelton has been their best QB. Matt Leinart was Matt Leinart, Derek Anderson had one good year with Cleveland and that was it, Kolb's injured, and this new guy, nothing more needs to be said.

I think the thing that amazes me most about Larry Fitzgerald is how zen-like he is about the whole thing. I think if it was me, I'd be so frustrated I'd look for another team.

Worst thing to ever happen to the Cards was Warner retiring. They'd still be owning that division if he hadn't retired. (Sorry 49ers fans.)

Stats from this past Sunday afternoon's games:
Tom Brady broke a tie with Joe Montana and became the 1st starting QB in NFL history to win 10 division titles. Peyton Manning is now tied with Montana for 2nd all-time with 9.
Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson became the 1st pair of rookie QB's to throw game-winning TD passes in the final minute of regulation or overtime on the same day.
It was the 3rd time this season that Wilson threw a game-winning TD pass in last 2 minutes/OT, most by a rookie since the merger.
Andrew Luck currently has 3,596 passing yards so far this season, most by a rookie QB in his 1st 12 games and currently 3rd most in a rookie season behind Cam Newton(4,051) and Peyton Manning(3,739).
Wes Welker tied Jerry Rice for the most career games of at least 10 receptions(17).
Calvin Johnson is the 1st player in NFL history to have 4 straight games with at least 140 receiving yards, and tied an NFL record with his 5th straight game with at least 125 receiving yards(Pat Studstill in 1966).
Adrian Peterson became the 7th player in NFL history to reach 8,000 rushing yards in 85 career games or fewer(joining Eric Dickerson, Jim Brown, Earl Campbell, Barry Sanders, Edgerrin James, and Emmitt Smith) and also had his 3rd career game with at least 200 rushing yards.
Aldon Smith now has the most career sacks in his first two seasons since sacks became an official statistic in 1982(31.5, passed Reggie White for the record).
Smith has 17.5 so far this season, 2nd most through first 12 games behind Mark Gastineau's 18.5 at that point in 1984.

Belicheck will figure out a way to have a game where the other teams offense literally never sees the field more than once or twice. I'm not a fan of it. It favors a passing team way more than a running team for one thing. I've seen Aaron Rogers have games where if I was the coach I'd never kick. Just let him throw a 15 yard dart after every touchdown and watch the defense die of exhaustion.

I'm probably going to be in the minority, but I actually like that idea.
Easier to convert a 4th & 15 than it would be to convert an onside kick, although it does take away some of the element of surprise with a onside kick before the 4th quarter.
Edit: Good idea in theory, but too many holes in it(favors a passing team like Packers, Patriots, Saints, Lions)

I don't like it, but I'm starting to get onboard with anything that makes players as safe as possible without killing the game outright. Lots of injuries happen on kickoffs so if you can reduce the risk of that significantly by doing this, then by all means.

Besides, it seems like ever since they moved them up a lot of kickoffs fly out of bounds anyway (not unless that's just a Matt Prater thing), so I don't think I'd miss the kickoff that much. I'm not sure if that's the way to go about it, though.

I'm not sure if that's the way to go about it, though. That's pretty much every kicker depending on stadium and weather conditions. Saints punter Thomas Morstead set an NFL record for most touchbacks last season.
