I actually don't hate the 4th and 15 idea. It will blow up in the faces of many teams that try to go for it, even worse than onside kicks do. I could see teams with terrible defenses but strong offenses (like the Patriots had last year) running with that.

Ray Lewis's new look: ![](http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/187n9ko0sxxakjpg/xlarge.jpg) Well, we already have Justin Tuck as Optimus Prime. Since Calvin Johnson is already Megatron, I guess that'd make Lewis Starscream.

That quote caught my eye to. So basically, you're admitting that your defense sucks and all you have to do is run that play. You're getting paid millions of dollars to stop their offense. I suggest you stop whining and do it, Miami.

Didn't Belichick used to say to his opponents, "It's not my job to stop Brady. It's your job to stop him."

Or you could, you know, take the time to go "Oh golly gee, let's fill that hole and stop the run!"

Didn't Belichick used to say to his opponents, "It's not my job to stop Brady. It's your job to stop him." Unless the 2 teams on the field consist of kids 12 and under, any whining about "running up the score" comes off as really sad and pathetic. So, anonymous Dolphins player(s): Guys in the NFL (in most cases) get paid very good amounts of money every week to *play defense*. Failure to do so is 100% on their shoulders. It is nobody's job to stop kicking your ass because you absolutely suck on that day. Stop whining and shut the f*** up

From Tim McMahon of ESPN's Twitter:
The Cowboys chartered place to the game was prevented from taking off and all the media, guests and other non team personnel ordered off. The plane is still sitting on the runway.
In another possibly related story (IMO not his), Joshua Brent an NT for the team was arrested at some point over night for intoxication manslaughter and is in jail in Irving.
And it comes together: the person killed in Joshua Brent's wreck this morning is his teammate from Illinois and a member if the Cowboys practice squad, Jerry Brown Jr.

According to Yahoo Sports, new Browns team president Joe Banner is "lukewarm on the prospects" of Brandon Weeden "developing into a star quarterback." After speaking with three "NFL sources," Yahoo's Jason Cole considers Buffalo to be Michael Vick's most likely landing spot in 2013. I don't see why Buffalo would want vick if they are going to draft a franchise QB in the draft and they already have a stop gap that knows the offense in Fitz Even if you wanna blame the entirety of the Eagles' offensive woes on Michael Vick, would you really say he's worse than Fitzpatrick? If there's a way to get off the hook for that idiotic extension he got, then they should go for it.

There is no such thing as running up the score in the NFL, these are the best of the best of college athletes and are getting paid a lot of money. If I were an NFL coach I'd try to score as many points as possible every week for no other reason than to prevent a possible Frank Reich Bills/Oilers situation.
If the other team is scoring at will, it says more about your team than theirs.

If there's a way to get off the hook for that idiotic extension he got, then they should go for it. Well Fitz's contract is not so bad since they can cut him and save most of the money on it. Plus his contract was a contract for a middle of the road qb who will just bridge to the future QB. I don't think he is a great fix.
