Adrian is fine... Neville is not. What kind of wrestler is named Neville? Neville is a common last name in the UK. There's even American soul singer Aaron Neville. I'll beat this to death but its the same as anything -- what kind of last name is Regal? Bryan? Swagger? Jinder's last name is MAHAL? Justin Gabriel?? O'Neil? Wait a minute hold the phone -- Skaaland? Backlund? Brazil? BOCKWINKEL?! Orndorff??? GAGNE? How do you pronounce some of these obscure names? !!! These people are going nowhere! How will they get over without a good name? Of those names, only Daniel Bryan is a seemingly average name. And in his case it went with how he was introduced, as the un-superstar. A guy that lacked the traditional look and size but made up for it with his impressive technical skills. From what I've heard/read about PAC(which would've been just as bad a name, for other reasons) he's an incredible highflyer. Apparently he literally "defies gravity". When I hear/read Adrian Neville, I'm not thinking highflyer, I'm thinking average guy. It lacks any marketability factor. It's such an uninspired, bland, normal name, it's ridiculous. There's nothing unique about Adrian Neville. Just saying it sounds wrong, Adrian Neville.

Adrian is fine... Neville is not. What kind of wrestler is named Neville? It's a gimmick. He's actually supposed to be a supporting character to the Man that Lived, Edison Potter.

I get that people don't like "Adrian Neville", but dear lord, "PAC" is a terrible name.

While a lot of FCW name generator results are stupid and it's not just people whining about change (see Ohno, Kassius and Ambrose, Dean), I don't think Adrian Neville is a bad one. It does make me think of the footballers, but that's at least a very English association. There's a lot worse in NXT than that and tbh I always thought PAC was a random silly name anyway. New member of the Wyatt family, yay! Sad Bo is not over though I love that Paige is one of the most over people they have. Sounds like a good set of shows overall. No Aiden English though, that makes me a sad panda! Who's the new Wyatt member?

But I actually wish that if WWE had to change their names, they would give them names that are close to, or derived from their real names or the names that made them famous (i.e. Bryan Danielson as Daniel Bryan).

Idk how well a wrestler named Black Tyler would be received. Maybe not Black Tyler, but instead of Seth Rollins, he could've been Seth Black. Or he could've been Tyler White, Tyler Green(e), or Tyler Brown(e). Or he could've had something suffixed to Black, such as Tyler Blackson, Blackwood, Blackwell, Blackstone, etc.

He could have been Ty Schwartz... No f*** that, that's as bad as Adrian Neville.
Why is it that Matt Sydal got a cool name. Yet a guy who trumps him as a high flyer gets stuck as Mr Neville? I cannot believe some people are actually supporting it. He could have had something better. Hell the first name they gave him was much better.
Can you really imagine the crowds chanting "let's go Neville," and keep a straight face?

Those sound really forced and unauthentic. I can buy someone in real life being named Seth Rollins

Can you really imagine the crowds chanting "let's go Neville," and keep a straight face? Sure if he's good enough. What I can't imagine is someone saying "Well that Corkscrew Shooting Star Press is impressive but I can't root for this guy. His name is too boring."

Exactly, once the crowd sees a corkscrew shooting star press or any of the other crazy f***in moves he does, no one's gonna give a f*** what his name is.
