So, Sleepless In Ponyville...another 10/10 for me. While different from last week's episode, this one was made by two things for me: 1. Scoots being now fully redeemed for me and now I find no flaw with any of the CMC and 2. It made Rainbow Dash go up a few steps in my book. Seriously, I loved their whole interaction in this episode and that scene at the end was actually how I imagined beforehand how the episode should end. And it did and the hug was just so nice. In other things, I loved Princess Luna's role in that one and there were lots of nice little moments thrown in and I never felt bored. So, a 10/10 for me it is.

So, I guess as far as debuts go, Corey Powell is the Chris Jericho to Merriwether Williams' Shockmaster?

She certainly gets the show better than Merriwether

Indeed, she does. She should write all the episodes for Dashie now.

I'll wait till she writes an episode for a character I actually like before I judge her to much

WOW surely if anyone has any doubt whatsover, that this show dosn't bring the goods, and that SOMEONE has doubts at the start of a season ..... well, that's just been BLOWN out of the water!!!!! and with this episode, it has now become a truly excellent series! a wonderful and beautiful episode, with some DEEP messages in it ..... it's almost as if they've done a complete 360, gave the entire premise a gentler and lighter feel, but with a darker more serious tone ..... which adds up to one hell of a episode! very few series i've watched does THIS to me ..... emotionally drags you in in such a way, but dosn't fob you off with easy answers ..... maybe i'm trying TOO hard to explain it we really haven't had this type of episode before, but what a wonderful way to do it! so full of charm, excitement and superb storytelling that even at this juncture of the entire run ..... it will be difficult to produce such emotion in a character, let alone an episode with what ever they have left to give us! right after it i gave it a NINE ..... and even before a second viewing on my big tv ..... i am going to put my head up and say ..... TEN OUT OF TENsimply because of the huge emotion in it, it feels totally different from previous episodes, and it honestly makes you feel good about yourself! sometimes they keep topping themselves, and then they give us a truly excellent story like this JUST BEAUTIFUL

Well, with next week being "Wonderbolt Academy" who knows? That is kinda what I am afraid of. In the latter half of Season 2, they rebuilt Dashie quite nicely only to let her have a major douche moment in Crystal Empire. And with such a nice episode for her this week, I am afraid next week will feature her having a douchetastic moment again to destroy that good will.

it's almost as if they've done a complete 360 So, they went in a circle and did nothing? You mean 180. I've made this mistake too

Luckily, we don't have that 180 phrase in German.
